Beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil! I have had the pleasure of visiting both night and day. There is a great deal of positive and healing energy in the Garden. This is a great place to connect with the Divine and with yourself. You will not leave unchanged for the better.I have also had the pleasure, privilege, and honor of attending Susan and Milt Sanderford's retreats which was a catalyst for me moving to Colorado from Atlanta two years ago. Life changing! Susan and Milt are absolutely wonderful and such a blessing! - Lyn Pedano (Durango, CO)

It sounded great on line, so we drove out there on our way to Taos. It's not easy to find and we drove past it at first. There is a narrow driveway and small gravel parking. There was 4 - 6 inches of snow. Tracks indicated that we weren't the first folks there since the snow. Snow covered most of the markers and rocks so we couldn't identify the labyrinths, Medicine Wheel, or Star Child Circle. On paper this looks like an interesting place, but I'd definitely discourage a winter visit.

There are some experiences a person can not put into words; this is the case in my trip to San Luis Colorado and Mother Mary's Garden. It was an incrediable life changing experience for me. The town of San Luis is a wonderful place, and the garden Susan and Milt Sanderford have created is a space that a person must experience for themselves, to be in this space, to feel the awesome energy this place on earth has to offer....is one of wonderment, I feel blessed that I was able visit this scared space.

The moment I walked into the garden I felt instantly filled with love. It overwhelmed me how powerful just standing in the gardens was. Healing took place on many levels for me in that and subsequent visits to this non-denominational spiritual site. The power of Divine Love is hidden in plain site. The only thing hiding it from view was my believing that Mother Mary (The Divine Feminine) was something inaccessible to me. The moment I invited her in I have found peace in the midst of life's present turmoil.I highly recommend this incredible garden if you truly would like to heal. Also visiting Susan and Milt Sanderford and the Casa center in the town of San Luis CO is not to be missed. The week long retreat I attended there healed what I didn't know could or needed to be healed.

I had such a wonderful experience in Mother Mary's Garden. Walking into the garden, I immediately felt calm and peaceful. It's a wonderful place to pray and connect with the Divine Mother. There are different areas in the garden to enjoy, including two labyrinth's, one expressing the masculine, the other expressing the feminine. It's a great place to stop and visit while traveling through San Luis, Colorado.

Ever since I had seen photos of this garden online over a year ago I wanted to visit this alluring place which is a beautiful garden. It’s a non-denominational spiritual, meditation & healing garden that is open to the public to visit. If you are not spiritual, no worries – go anyway for photographs and just have a seat or look around– it’s a great place to experience the vast open sky, is landscaped beautifully and has surrounding views of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains & Ute Mountain in the distance. It’s been listed by National Geographic as a recommended place to visit, so you know it's got to be good. A hand carved statue of the Mother Mary is the centerpiece of the Garden itself, surrounded by labyrinths, a Star of David circle (also known as a Star child circle) a fire pit & Stone circles. The energy at this garden is something you can actually feel in your hands as you walk its paths and sit, close your eyes, breathe & contemplate quietly. I was also lucky enough to experience visiting at Sunset/night-time for a retreat I was on at the Casa de Santa Maria (the Garden was opened up for us at this time by the owners) and we captured phenomenal photographs of dozens of spirit orbs at the garden, as did the others on the retreat with their cameras… The San Luis Valley is a hotbed for spiritual activity/phenomena and this intriguing and spiritually charged place is not to be missed & will captivate you. This was a once in a lifetime experience that has made me feel more grounded and a true believer that there is a higher power out there for us to believe in and feel one with this beautiful earth.
