When You think of all the stories about how beautiful the Colorado Rocky Mountains are, You begin to wonder if people were just listening to too much John Denver or a little to Rocky Mountain High! Then You get here and You'd have to be deaf, dumb and stupid not to be completely impressed with this vista! Hey Honey, When's our mortage paid off?

The wet mountains are beautiful. Full of coyotes, bear, fox, etc. I was able to visit for 2 weeks and found it fascinating how the mountains never got boring to look at. The Sun made all the difference. I was there for the first snowfall and saw the mountains glisten in the sun. Great place to visit.

We bought property there a few years ago; always love to visit. Be sure to visit the town of Westcliffe; great folks there.

Take a loop drive from Pueblo, Co. This is my most favorite mountain drive in Colorado. The Wet Mountain valley is about as grand as it gets. The view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range from Wet Mountain Valley is unparalleled!! Take your Camera!!!!!

There are many things to see and do in the Wet Mountains. Bishop's Castle, Lake Isabelle, historic town of Beulah and lots of hiking trails plus Greenhorn Mtn. an extinct volcano and Mission Wolf.

You can do a loop from Pueblo West or Pueblo, CO to Wet Mountains. It a nice scenic drive. It's nice to see some green scenery from the dry dusty land of Pueblo, CO.
