Paonia is a lovely small town in the heart of magnificent wine country near the Grand Mesa. In the heart of town is a gem of a gallery! Wander in and you will want to spend some time; they have some traditional western art (oils) along with gorgeous pastels and they are currently showing mixed media journals! They also have a small boutique of the most wonderful clothes by Elisabethan which are locally crafted. The gallery is owned by the same couple who own the ice cream shop next door (Ollie's) so making the trip is delicious as well as interesting!
