We had travelled from Denver to do some training for our motorcycle organization. Our hosts chose the HBC for our wind down location. Parking is a little problematic. We ended up using a nearby business's parking lot. The service was great and the atmosphere congenial. There were seven in our party. We were seated quickly. They will provide a sample of a specialty brew or you can get the specialty rack. I'm very impressed with the quality of the brews I tasted. I'm a amber/red/dark drinker...very impressed. We were only here for the brews but the food I saw passing our table looked pretty doggone good! (Not sure how TripAdvisor is classifying this restaurant-brewery.) I would have been happy eating here! We'll be back. Highly recommended!

If in this region at the end September, check out the Salmon runs here. There is an annual event here please check for dates prior to visit. This is a remote location an well worth some quality time here for the wildlife at Horsefly forks. Also be sure to take a ride throw re Beaver Valley road, the wildlife here is spectacular, including Bears, Eagles, Hawks, Dear, Moose. Be sure to drive slowly and have Cameras ready. This is a road a car can navigate, you don't need a 4 WD, unless in Winter.Plan to spend time here to see the best of the scenery and of course wildlife. Also pay Likely and Quesnell forks a visit.
