We had a great time. We were able to get tons of runs in, and made the most of a beautiful day. They could invest a tiny bit in the parking lot and add a little gravel. It was horribly muddy, and messy. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a fun time going up and down the mountain in tubes - single and double. It is a little "spendy," so I would recommend making the most of your time. But, it is great not having to lug a tube up the hill, and being "lifted," although you do have to support yourself - not rails to really hang on to - but it's safe and was very convenient!

Our first snow tubing experience was last night and it was AWESOME!!! We are going back tonight. It's great for all ages. Our group is 3,7,8,11,17, and then the 40+ adults. Everyone had a blast and the staff was wonderful. Can't wait to get back tonight.

With coupons our family of five was able to tube for an hour! Had a blast and made plenty memories. Hill is wayyy bigger and faster then coca cola tubing but they should have a bus to bring you to the tubing area. We had to walk a mile from the bus stop to the actual place. Get a 4 wheeler and trailer or something!!!! Lol

We visited here on a weekday afternoon in Jan., so it was not busy at all. We got lots of runs in because of this. It is not cheap for a family so I wouldn't want to visit on a busy day and only get down the hill a few times. I haven't been to the one next to it so can't compare the two. I found all the employees pleasant and relaxed. All our family loved this activity, it was a good time had by all. They didn't have the fire on the day we were there but it was a pretty nice day.I would say this is a good value on a weekday maybe not so much on a holiday.

We already planned to try this tubing hill & happened to pick up a 'buy 3 get 1' coupon at the WP visitors center. It's $18 an hour, with a $2 discount if you bring your own helmet. They have a nice fire pit to warm up by and offer $3-$4 beer also. We went Tues night after MLK day. Not busy at all. We got at least 10 runs in our hour. Fast, long hills. Parking lot is much better than the joint next door. CAP also takes credit cards which is nice. We had a great time & recommend Colorado Adventure Park if you're looking for some serious tubing fun!

We went to colorado adventure park last weekend on Monday(MLK day so a holiday for many) after skiing two days at winter park. We usually go to the Fraser Tubing Hill right next door and thought we would try CAP as we've seen their dueling advertisers for years. The Fraser Tubing Hill Is bright orange and blue on the hill and the Colo Adventur Park guy is dressed as a penguin. You bear to the left for the Fraser Tubing Hill and to the right for the Adventure Park. Here are the differences: Fraser tubing Hill has two Magic carpet in which you sit in your tube and get pulled up the hill on snow and they have two tubing hill areas that are a bit steeper than their competitor. The adventure park has 4 slopes to tube but only one Magic carpet which you stand on and it carries you to the top. It seems to us as though the adventure park keeps letting people in without regard for how many people are already out there tubing which led to long lines at the Magic carpet. At one point we waited a full 10 minutes for and on the Magic carpet. At the Fraser tubing hill, sometimes you have to wait for other people to finish tubing before you can start, if it's crowded. So you may wait before or you may wait during, but we prefer the wait before as is frustrating to be in line for 10 minutes when you only have an hour on the slopes. We got in 7 runs in an hour and that was hustling back to the Magic carpet after each run. So both places are a lot of fun, our 10 and 6 year old daughters love tubing and wouldn't miss it. Colorado adventure park also offers mini snowmobiles called snowscoots which you ride for an extra charge for 10 minutes. Our 10 year old liked that a lot although her first snowmobile moved at maybe 5 miles an hour. The staff member switched Her to a better machine once someone else got off which was good. But they just ride in a circle which is fairly small. Overall both are good value for your money but we would give the edge to the Fraser Tubing Hill for steeper hills and less waiting on the Magic carpets.

This was our second tubing "adventure" with the grand kids who live in Atlanta. They love Colorado at Christmas. Last year we went to Frisco and it totally exceeded expectations. To be honest, we chose this venue because of how their website looked, but when we arrived were somewhat disappointed. The staff inside were also disorganized compared to Frisco. The restroom facilities are also quite poor. That said, it was a cold snowy day and once we started tubing it was great fun. Colorado Adventure park essentially just has big hills as opposed to Frisco which has groomed slopes. But everyone had great fun, and the kids even got to ride snowmobiles for the first time.Parking was good, and add in the variety of great restaurants available in nearby Winter Park afterwards and all in all it was a good day. If I could give this venue 3 1/2 stars I would rather than 4. But higher than a 3.Frisco is better, but Colorado Adventure Park is still grand fun and a closer drive from the Denver area. On a snowy day, take extra caution driving on Highway 40 off of I-70.

We had an amazing time at the Colorado Adventure Park! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, definitely more family friendly than the hill next door. They had four different hills that got steeper as you went, plenty of variety! Our two children got the opportunity to ride the mini snowmobiles called snow scoots which was exciting! If your looking for a great tubing experience definitely go to the Adventure Park!!

I saw a kid got hit by a tube and he literally flipped in the air! Older kids can get away fast enough of oncoming tubes but little kids can't. I'd say that if your child is 6 and under you should not let him go alone because you can avoid a very bad accident, even death. Other places I've gone tubing monitor when everyone is off the ramp before the other ones can go, not here so just keep that in mind with your little ones. Other than that it is super fun and fast!!

We were planning on going to the Fraser Tubing Hill because that is the one we had heard of. CO Adventure was recommended by hotel and we got $2 off coupons. So, we decided to go here instead. Great service, quick check out, no long lines, and the hills were awesome! We had two hours of great fun and will be back. They do require you wear helmets, which we weren't happy about, but turned out not to be a big deal. They do accept credit cards, which Fraser Tubing did not. Big TIP--Bring something to cover your face, especially with smaller children. The tubes kick up spray and your face gets wet and then with the wind, not fun. Bring a scarf or face mask and kids will be happier :-)

Had a great time here with the family. Kids at 9 and 12 and both thought the tubing hills were "awesome". Went on a Sunday afternoon during spring break and it was not too busy. Staff and equipment were fine and no issues with safety. Jump on a tube and speed down a hill, great fun. There also is a coupon in some of the local guide books, buy 3 get one free. Worked put great.
