I have been to Tall Grass many times now and I have to say, it is one of my favorite spas - ever! In fact, I go more often now for my haircut because the stylist/barber I use is fantastic and actually less expensive than other places around. The spa prices there are unbelievably reasonable, l the services are amazing and the staff is incredible. The waiting are, or "Great Room" is quiet, relaxing and exudes peacefulness. I would enjoy just hanging out there even if I were not using the spa services. Do yourself a favor and visit Tall Grass and treat yourself!

Starting with the welcoming and helpful reception into the wonderfully scented waiting area, the concept of total bliss starts to emerge. There are many tough decisions to be made...will my cocoa scrub be scented with peppermint, tangerine (can't be beat) or vanilla? What color polish for my toes? Once these are out of the way the spoiling continues in earnest. I can not recommend Jason and Liz enough. They were wonderful. Thank you for a great escape.

The spa is a very simple semi-rustic beautiful setting in the mountains. It is not overly luxurious but it is peaceful and the word "zen" comes to mind. The important thing to us was that the massages were incredible! We loved our massages so much while on vacation we went back the following week for another! I tried both the Sweetgrass and the Stress-Fix. I had two different therapists and my friends had two others. Not a disappointing massage in the bunch. I was loose for two days and refused to shower for 24 hours soaking in the luscious oils. I worked with Heidi and Christie. My friend worked with Lindsey and Heidi and another friend worked with Jason (Justin?). All were fabulous and we felt reasonable priced. If you love an excellent massage I'd recommend TallGrass!

I've been so a LOT of spas in the US and Europe...this is one of my very favorites!!! The staff was the BEST of any spa I have been to...services were excellent but it was the ATTITUDE of each person that I was in contact with that impressed me the most. From checking in to my facial, massage, LUNCH, mani/pedi and COMPLIMENTARY makeup application. They were all so friendly, helpful, and actually HAPPY!!! What a great experience! I was in Evergreen for a special occasion but I may have to make this an annual trip!!!

The Tall Grass Spa is the place to go if you want to feel lux·u·ri·ous!!! From the moment you set foot in the door with a smile from the receptionist, to the comfy robe you are given, to the cup of tea that you sip with a beautiful mountain view and the sound of the waterfall, TALL GRASS MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE Royality! You may even start to believe it! Spend the day, have a massage, a facial and a mani and pedi. You will walk a bit taller after leaving the Tall Grass!

We went to Tallgrass with high expectations for our mother/daughter trip as it was recommended to us by another family member. Our expectations were exceeded as we enjoyed a day of pampering, The location is quiet; our technicians were friendly and accommodating and experts in their field; refreshments and lunch were superb! We have decided to return twice/year for a day of relaxation!

The serene vistas in concert with the BEST hot stone massage and the most enjoyable facial, are the key elements of Tall Grass! Go visit!

I've known of TallGrass for many years, but it took a gift certificate from my dear sister to get me there. I anticipated it would be nice, but it was above and beyond my expectations. From the warm and sincere welcome I received at the front door to the fabulous massage and luxurious facial, I felt nurtured and blissfully tranquil. The Great Room has comfy chairs, yummy cucumber water, tea and a few treats. The garden is the quintessential Colorado nook with a stream surrounded by aspens and evergreens. The picture perfect Colorado summer's day added to the ambiance, but what really made it so excellent were the staff and services - the highest quality I've ever experienced. Treat yourself to TallGrass and allow the transformation to wrap you up and restore your soul!

My sister was visiting from TX and I booked lunch and an 80 min aromatherapy massage for both of us. Tall Grass is in an amazing location, overlooking the Upper Bear Creek with a beautiful view of Mt. Evans. The atmosphere is serene and the staff is so attentive. The salads were just perfect for a light lunch before our massages. (Note, you have to order your lunch a few days before your visit.) Mary Louise and Bea were excellent masseuses and paid attention to every detail to make our experience unforgettable. Although the electricity went out during our massages, Mary Louise didn't skip a beat and I didn't even realize it until afterwards when my sister and I were relaxing in the den. Because we were "inconvenienced" (which we were not!) the spa still gave us 15% off of our treatments (and gave this same discount to everyone at the spa)! I highly recommend this spa for an awesome retreat from the city in a beautiful environment.

This is a unique SPA to treat and pamper yourself: from facials, to massages, to steam rooms, to manicure/pedicure, hair treatments and hairdos.......all the professionals really dedicate their time with you to make the best out of the treatment you chose. The place is beautiful, silent, super clean, with a unique view of the mountains, and an excellent comfortable parking place.Organizing girls day out, or a special time with your partner, or just a treat for yourself, is one of the best gifts you can give to yourselfI highly recommend Tall Grass!!!

My husband and I booked a couples message at TallGrass while we were staying in Evergreen on vacation for our third anniversary. This spa is really top-notch, and I've been to some very nice ones before. The employees are obviously very well-trained and focused on maximizing every guest's experience. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience here (plus, Aveda is my preference). It was like a little slice of heaven. First, we were given a robe and slippers to change into, then we were directed to sit in a room and wait for our names to be called. The room was very comfortable, with lovely furniture for lounging, a fireplace, cucumber water, pretzels, and fruit. There was a patio off of the waiting room which we also had the option of utilizing. We chose to sit out on the patio since the day was nice, and it was just fantastic - a babbling waterfall, hummingbirds, and lovely trees surrounded us as we reclined on lounge chairs. The best part, however, was the view of snow-capped mountains! I was ALMOST disappointed when we were called for our services because I was so much enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I were taken into a room with two massage tables which, if I remember correctly, was called the Sage Room. It had a lit fireplace and the door to a patio open to let in a breeze. We began with a smoothing hand treatment, then we both selected an aromatherapy oil scent for our massages. Our massages were 80 minutes long, which sounds long, but it went by waaaaaay too quickly! Lindsey and Lyndsey did a phenomenal job on both of us. After the massage was over (which was possibly the saddest moment of my life), we were led to a steam room where we were allowed to relax. The whole visit to TallGrass was true perfection. What an indulgence! Obviously, it came with a heavy price tag, but it was worth the splurge.

TallGrass is tucked away in the mountains of Evergreen, about 45 minutes outside the city of Denver, Colorado. Happily, it's easy to find with the technology of Google maps.My friend and I booked the half-day escape experience which included one hour massage, aromatic facial, and full mani-pedi. All of it was indeed delicious, including a tasty lunch included of soup and sandwich. Naturally, they have a cute little gift shop with all kinds of tempting products too, including gift cards. The setting is fantastic, and both my friend and I had a really lovely time. Would definitely come back next time we're in Colorado!

I must give my experience at Tall Grass the most stars possible. A massage by Jesse was indeed the best, best ever. Start to finish, I was impressed, delighted, and left sure that I should go every other week. (I can't but I will do more!)So, people say things like "I have had massages...all over the world, blah blah" but I have had more than a few. It was simply remarkable and left me more than impressed, relaxed and educated. Worth every dime.

I visit Tallgrass on a regular basis for hair services - sometimes I'm pleased, sometimes not as much. Today, I went in for a massage since my husband gave me a $200 gift certificate for Christmas and I needed to spend some of that money! I'm not letting anyone touch my hair at the moment, so massage it was. I'd always wondered what their other services were like when I saw people wandering around the large great-room in the big comfy looking robes getting ready to be pampered. It was my turn! I was led to a room and pointed to the lockers to change into my own big, comfy robe (they ARE nice!) and given my custom sized slippers. I was then told to wait in the great-room with the large burning fireplace. I helped myself to a cool drink. They were ready for me immediately though, so I didn't have time to relax. I WAS running right on time though, so get there early if you want to hang out. I suggest this. I was led to a very nice room with a burning fireplace, softly scented candles and softly playing music. Very nice. I was asked what areas I wanted to work on and what type of pressure I liked. She definitely followed my instructions and checked in with me on a regular basis. I received a nice massage, although expensive. $110 for 50 minutes, plus a generous tip. You are paying for the experience- for sure. It's worth the splurge every once in a while, right? Afterwards, she greeted me with cool ice water and I was told to take my time getting ready to leave. I noticed that I had the option of a shower, but they were closing up for the day and I went ahead and left. The room was set up for couples massages and that would be nice as well. I do recommend this place.
