My husband and 9 year old had a great time. My daughter wants to go again next year! They did the half day adventure.

I spent a half day with Goldstrike and had a great time. Both Don and Ryan were fun, patient teachers. They have a whole variety of well maintained prospecting gear for you to try out too. They also know a lot about the mining history of the area and seem to love telling stories about the old timers who first discovered gold here, etc.If you visit and want some hands on, family friendly outdoor activity where you pan out your own souvenir sign up for an adventure!!
