This is a small restaurant inside the Apple Shed...which is a fun place to take out of town guests. The restaurant sits in an old Apple Shed that hosts small boutique rooms that have art, clothing, kitchen and accent furniture. The restaurant sits at the entrance. Had not eaten there for quite awhile and stopped in for lunch with my uncle. We ordered a Ruben Sandwich and Bacon Cheese Burger. The food had a nice presentation and was very good. I always ask to have the dressing on the side of the Ruben sandwich and more often than not restaurants don't do -they don't see the request or forget. Today the dressing was served on the side. They also serve local wines and beers so of course we tried them too. Pap's Pinot Noir and Revolution Brewery Miner's Gold were both a surprisingly good. Will definitely go out of my way to remember to eat at this restaurant more.

After visiting the Hotchkiss Hatchery we drove to Cedaredge to see a friend's new Antique Mall.Cedaredge is a small town and there are very few places to eat. Our favorite, The Apple Orchard Restaurant had closed so we decided to try The Apple Shed. They have added on to an old packing shed to have space for a Art Gallery and Restaurant. The idea was good but leaving a little of the character of the old building on the outside might have helped the theme. The restaurant menu is not comfort food as you might expect in this small country town. It tries to be upscale with wraps, salads, and desserts. That might have been our mistake by ordering a burger. It was edible but the meat had a spoiled taste and was a little over done. Side choices weren't much better or appropriate for a burger. If you are not going to serve fries, maybe Cottage potato's might be a good side, The Potato Salad was BAD!There were plenty of Waitress's for a small Cafe but they did not work as a team. SLOW is the best word to describe them. Also you would think in such a small space if you poured Ice Tea for your two tables, you might fill up the guys glass at the table two feet away even if it wasn't your table. If you need to eat in Cedaredge don't order the burger or maybe take a ten minute drive into Delta to eat.

The apple shed is an art gallery first and foremost. You will find outstanding and beautiful paintings, clothing, pottery, cards and many more very unique items all created by Colorado artists and displayed in numerous areas throughout the building. Live musical performances also happen occasionally. I have been there numerous times throughout the years and browsing the galleries is always a treat.Recently, and for the first time, I had lunch there with a friend. I ordered the humus vegetable roll up sandwich. Which was tasteless. It was 99% lettuce &shredded carrots. with a tiny bit of tomato,.pepper, & cucumber. The humus was skimpy & added no flavor at all. The result was a tasteless sandwich. The menu is limited but next time I will definitely try something else.

I thought the service was horrible. The person behind the bar was serving the rest of my family, and not me. I don't know if she forgot I was was a part of the wine tasting or what, but there was an empty glass sitting in front of me, and she never thought twice. The wine prices were very over priced. My mom said the wine wasn't the best.

Went there for lunch and it was delicious. The apple pie was as good as I've ever eaten.Don't go too late for lunch. They were running out of a few things by the time we left about 2:00pm.
