Kit Carson county fair ground is like no other, Coordinators spend time and money putting the beautiful events through summer months, 25 cents to ride the carousel rides, free food on fair day, lots of shows, great rodeo , local young cowboys and girls show of the lamb , pigs, horses and all other ranch animals you only see it on TV for free, local people are very friendly to outsiders, please learn to waive at the drivers in all vehicles going by or at the stop signs. also get used to waiving at the locals in the park or even walking on side walk .

However, it looks like a very nice facility that they take a great deal of pride in. I'd really like to catch some event here someday. (it's next to the Carousel).

Kids enjoyed watching the jr rodeo horse barrel competition. Nice crowd, free to get in, near things to enjoy nearby....like the carousel. Clean.

The Kit Carson County Fair is the greatest. Worth your time for sure!

Nicer than many county fairgrounds, nice stands, nice horse barns, cattle barns. And then to have the carousel too makes it really nice.
