Saw this on the list of things to see and do in Chattanooga and just had to check it out. It did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and we loved the large variety of items to look at. Had to bag a few moon pies while we were there and just enjoyed every minute of our visit. (paking downtown is something that takes a little getting used to though)

The Moon Pie General Store has a lot more than Moon Pies. I didn't try the made to order food but it looked and smelled excellent. We got a variety box of the Moon Pies with the Salted Caramel being my favorite. It is a general store with a good selection of items you might find interesting from the Movies and TV. They also had ice cream but since it was freezing cold outside we skipped it.

Store has a little bit of everything in it. Never realized there were so many flavors of moon pies. Great place to find candies from your childhood.

The Moon Pies are okay, but nothing to go out of your way for. The store has the usual stuff that one would expect. The glass blower next door is much more interesting.

This is a really neat place in downtown Chattanooga. It's got all kinds of nostalgic merchandise from years past - think Andy Griffith show calenders, metal signs, old toys and books. Oh yea and Moon Pies too! The staff is always really nice and it's worth stopping by if you're in the area!

Loved the selection of items in the Moon Pie store. Took me back to my childhood! Prices were affordable, and love the RC and Moon Pie!

Everyone loves/loved Moon Pies and this is the place to get them in various flavors and sizes. This store certainly takes one back to their childhood and days gone by. There are also Moon Pie gifts galore. A must stop when in Chattanooga.

can't wait to go back and take friends. It is like stepping back in time and all the old timey candy and stuff from my childhood, not to mention all the flavors of moon pies. Even a moon pie ice cream sandwiich

The taste of a fresh moon pie cannot be described. I love the chocolate moon pie and had to stock up while I was in the city. There were other flavors available for those who want to try something fancy. The store also offered memorabilia. It was a fun dive into days gone by.

Many yummy moon pie flavors that are otherwise hard to find, vintage moon pie and miscellaneous merchandise, and they make moon pie beverages, shakes and ice cream. My wife and I were eating moon pies during our entire 9 day vacation thanks to this store. Worth a stop.

Loved the cute very nostalgic store. Anything you could have ever wanted to do w/ Moon Pies. Had many varieties of candies that you don'T find anymore. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time visiting here; the video was well done and the staff is VERY friendly and helpful. Those of us of a certain age will recognize the original Moon Pie and many of the other candies and trinkets - and they were fun for the "younger generation" to see and try out. We were introduced to orange, lemon, salted caramel, and a number of other Moon Pie flavors and sizes which were new to us.No matter your age, you will enjoy this stop - and there are a number of good/excellent restaurants near by if you stop in near a meal time.

This was a fun experience--although the place was quite crowded since it is so small. Wish there had been more stuff about the Moon Pie and maybe even a sample tasting. But still fun.

Stopped by to fill some time...filled with alot of stuff not even related to anything. ..was a neat place just wished they had more history on the making of the Moon Pie.
