Very informative from the person within and plenty of phamplets to choose from. Here my husband I planned a trip to Sieverville to go shopping and sight see the Skyway. Was a great day for this adventure.

I'm from the Tellico Plains area so I have little need in the information provided here. If you are any kind of traveler then you know what other visitor centers contain. Keep in mind that the information provided is fluffed to make this area more interesting than it really is. Good luck!

Before getting on the Cherohala Skyway you must need to check out the Visitor Center in Tellico Plains. They are a wealth of information and a great source for maps of the area. They have clean restrooms (highly recommended before entering the Skyway) and a great gift shop and museum.

"See Rock City"- "Lookout Mountain"- all have elaborate advertising for underwhelming attraction. If hype is your thing, this is your place. Outhouses, few pull-offs and B-grade scenery when compared to Great Smokey Mountain Nat. Park. Some say best scenic drive in the south....I would see your optometrist immediately for corrective lenses. Nice visitors shop, not indicative of limited fun to follow. Country road akin to others in the South...Roan Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, both more scenic and accessible. Oh yeah take gas and food, there isn't anything, anywhere on this 50 mile fiasco. Rural highway, nothing more.

Great visitors center. But awsome skyway. Wow what a scenic wonderful motorcycle ride I had on the Cherohala skyway. The views are breath taking.

This is a great example of what a visitor center should be. Very clean restrooms. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good information on events and places to visit. Bigger visitor centers could really take some tips from this place on how to operate.

Stopped here while taking a drive to a beautiful waterfall just off the skyway. Lots of helpful maps, exhibits and beautiful souvenirs to buy, including unique handmade jewelery. Very nice building with clean restrooms.

This visitor center was having some special programs the weekend we were there. The people working there were very helpful in finding maps and hiking trail information for us.

I found truly helpful staff there when I had lost my camera . The people who work there are absolutely friendly. A true place of Southern hospitality.

I would definitely recommend people stop here and visit all three buildings. The museums are neat and my husband and I really enjoyed looking around.

No hello upon entering. We were the only people there. The lady didn't understand English very well or had a hearing issue. When someone came in after us she didn't understand him either. It's a nice visitor center though with all the typical helpful guides and pamphlets. Very clean. Easy to locate right before the Skyway on the main road. Plenty of parking.

Helpful staff at the desk. Free maps. Some good historical displays. Gewgaws are chintzy. Well worth the 15-30 minute stop.
