Never rode a horse in my life and i must say this was a GREAT experiene.... Matt was great with my 7 year old daughter. Made her first ride experience a very memorable one. She can't stop talking about "Nosy"

We enjoyed the riding stables it was very affordable and was not overly corporate. It was just our family of four that went out which was great compared to other places that send groups of 10+. The Guide Matt was very warm and helped the kids stay calm and enjoy the ride. We also enjoyed the petting zoo. The baby goats and reindeer where a family favorites. I wanted to give this place a low rating to keep it uncrowded but couldn't do that. A must do for riding or petting.

This attraction is really a hidden Treasure in the area!!! The staff is friendly, bubbly and courteous. The animals here are NOT neglected and caged up for people's viewing. Many are rescue animals and have tons of room and "grazing land", as well as receiving routine Vet care!! The owners are wonderful and really care that you have a great experience! We spent two hours feeding everything from goats, DEER , Horses, Zonkey, Llamas and so much more! There is even a Kangaroo that is friendly and loves to be pet!! They are very reasonably priced and you can get cheap refills on food, if you run out, and continue to just walk around and pet the animals. You never feel rushed! We made memories that will last a LIFE time here, and we will be coming back every time we visit!! Thanks so much Ms. Lynn!!

I visited the deer farm this past weekend and had a great time :). It was super easy to find even though it was in the mountains, because there were signs at every .turn When we first entered the office, a super friendly girl greeted us and told us all the rules. We bought a cup of feed (you can keep the cup as a souvenir after you're done) and went out to see the animals. It had just rained and snowed so it was a little muddy, but despite that the stalls and enclosures were very well kept, as well as the sweet animals. The kangaroo up front was so super friendly and loved to be petted. They had an awesome variety of animals but my favorites were the adorable reindeer, who we bought apples for. When we were leaving, the owner(?) came in and was amazingly nice. She saw that we were looking at the cups that were made by a local artist, and gave us some recommendations about where we could buy locally made things which was awesome! This place is definitely great for people of all ages and I will be sure to visit every time I'm in town.

After a horrible trip the the Rainforest zoo this place was a breath of fresh air! The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The admission is reasonable. The grounds are clean and the animals are friendly. This is a great place to interact and pet many different animals. The kangaroo let us scratch their bellies, the deer ate out of our hands, the reindeer gave us kisses, the donkeys sang us songs and the camels gave us slobbery love! We will return here every time we are in the area. Spend your time and money here, you won't be disappointed!

Love the riding stable guide was wonderful and staff were super friendly, horses were very broke and would recommend for any level rider. Loved the scenery anytime you are in the mountains it is beautiful would recommend the deer farm to anyone one of the best stops of our vacation will be back again.

Family had a great time today. A bit muddy but so much fun anyway!!! The people are so sweet and friendly! Great place for any age! My kids are 17 and 20 and had a blast!

We visit every year. They have a variety of different animals from deers, camels, donkeys, peacocks, etc. If your kids want a wonderful hands on experience of feeding deer and other exotic animals, this is the place.

We went to the petting zoo and then went for a 45 minute ride. Matt, one of our guides, was full of information. I learned all about the animals at the farm as well as information about things in the area. Amy, another guide was so awesome with the kids. The petting zoo had a wide variety of animals. It was a wonderful experience for everyone in the group.

This is a nice place to go with small children. You can go right after horseback riding. Walking around goats is so much fun. Feeding the reindeer, horses, elks and the camel was fun for the little ones and the adults too. The camel was very photogenic and made us laugh a lot.

We have been a few times, we love love love it! Mr. Tim is awesome and our horses are always perfect for us and my daughter. They always pick out the perfect horse for her and i never have to worry about her. .. we will always choose them because they have always had our best interest at heart.. thanks guys for always providing us a perfect ride.

We were in Tennessee for a week and visites twice. Went to the zoo once such a great experience. Went horseback riding twice. Our ages range from 5 to 40 with Little to no horse back experience the horses were great. Will go back! !

My husband and I took our two year old daughter here today. We were so happy to see a family run business in such a tourist town. All the animals were happy and healthy and very friendly. My daughters favorite was the pony rides, but I fell in love with the deer. This place is great for all ages even if you don't have children. We will definitely be back. If you have a minute stop and talk to te owner, her passion for her animals makes you appreciate them a little bit more.

It is a down home family friendly environment. The animals are friendly and well taken care of. The prices for admission and feed are rather reasonable. We visited with a teenager and a 2 year old and we all had fun.

We came to the area for a family vacation, we had bought tickets online to a different petting zoo in the area but after driving by and see the condition of the animals we decided we would eat the money and find a different petting zoo. I am so glad we did, the deer farm was great. The staff are extremely friendly as are the animals. They seem very well cared for. The only disappointment my teenage daughter had was that they did not have any tennessee fainting goats. I would recommend wearing clothes that Ya don't mind getting alittle dirty as the goats and the fallow deer love to try and nibble on them. We had a vey good time, if we return to the area we will visit this petting zoo again.
