This was a great adventure. Our guides Mike & Trent were great. They explained everything in detail and were very safe. We did not feel insecure about the trip at all. Since it was off-season, we were the only ones that went up. That was great. I can't wait to go back and take others with us. Next time we will go on the longer trip.

Our family just took a wildwater zipline canopy tour and had a blast. My wife, our boys( 11 & 13 )and I found our guides, Jedi Mike and Trent very informative and entertaining. The standard of safety was the highest and the experience was a delight. I would recommend this adventure to family and friends.

My husband and I booked the combo trip of rafting and zip lining and we had a great time! I was very nervous about the zip lining but had a ton of fun, and we both really enjoyed the rafting. Great bbq for lunch too. Ask for Mike!

We called to make reservations prior. We had no trouble at all getting a reservation quickly! The first day we went white water rafting with our awesome guide Chris!! Exhilarating!! The next day we went on the zip line canopy tour with Mike and Steve. They were awesome!! Both the rafting and the zip line scenic views were so amazing! An amazing experience that my family will never forget! The staff and our guides were courteous, friendly, funny and very thorough with safety requirements. They made everything so easy to understand and made us feel comfortable and safe the whole time. It was my favorite part of our Gatlinburg vacation!! I highly recommend them if you're looking for an exciting time while you are in Gatlinburg!

We booked the combo package online before going down. Well worth the money and doing it ahead saves time/searching. This company was top notch-from the greeters at front desk check-in to folks that guided you-all were friendly and knowledgable. We began with zip lining-I chickened out after ground school-my kids went on without me. No problem with management-refunded my money on the spot! Kids loved the zip lining-had never done and thought it was great. Lunch was provided and decent-then onto rafting. Nice trip-nothing very heart pounding-if you've been before this river is tame. Our guide Nate was awesome and interesting. I highly suggest choosing this company-can't say enough about their attention to detail. Overall, one of the best days we had on vacation!

We went to the outpost in Hartford, TN on a Thursday before Memorial Day. We did the waterfall gorge canopy zipline tour, followed by white water rafting on the Upper Pigeon River. The whole day cost $130 per person, with lunch at the doghouse included...it was a great experience! The zipline tour included 15 zips, some from rock cliffs, treehouses, or after skybridges. Before going on the tour the guides showed us how to zip, brake, and pull ourselves back in. I would not suggest this activity if you aren't prepared to be a little active and climb lots and lots of stairs. My fiance is scared of heights, but still had fun with our guides, Steve and Jarret.Whitewater rafting was just as exciting with our fantastic guide, Jason. The river had class III and IV rapids, so nothing too extreme, but Jason kept us safe and had a great attitude! Definitely recommend this if you have a full day to devote to it. Make sure you have comfortable clothes, a swimsuit, river shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and don't worry about packing a lunch if you get the full package!

We took advantage of everything Gatlinburg had to offer, and this was the family favorite. We had Steve (Stretch) for a guide, and he was excellent. We all felt safe and comfortable, but right on the edge of excited and thrilled! Perfect combination, we highly recommend it!

Our guide Mike made everything very intense and action packed, He was full of life and made everyone completely comfortable! From sing alongs on the bus to joke about the waters, it was an amazing experience. I personally recommend Mike, as he is an excellent guide!

We had a wonderful whitewater trip with our guide Dawn! From a fun bus ride to the start of the water, to a stop and jump off a rock that was great for the young and old, my husband and I had loads of fun. We felt safe and well cared for the entire time!

We had an excellent time ziplining ! Our guides, John and Michael, are true professionals and made us feel at ease as first timers. We can't wait to go again.

This was not our first rafting trip on the upper Pigeon, but it was one of the best. The staff was friendly, and had plenty of comedic one-liners to keep the trip extra fun. Katie was a great guide, and put extra effort into making sure me and the other dad in the raft got the brunt of the over-the-side water. We'll be back with Wildwater next year!

I have wanted my family to go rafting for a long time. My wife never wanted to go. So, on this trip to Gatlinburg, I just made the reservations, and scheduled it without her knowing. Once the plans were made, there was no turning back. Well, today was the day. We went to Whitewater, and had a great time. Even my wife enjoyed it. We have heard that a good guide can make all the difference, so if you go, ask for Mike. He's the best. Not only is he an experienced navigator of the river, he is witty as well. His humor will keep you laughing the whole trip. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Gatlinburg.

I hope this is the right place for this review. We went on a rafting trip on the upper Pigeon. Kids were 8, 11 and 13. The rapids were class 3 and 4 and were tons of fun. Our raft guide Jason S was very nice and guided us safely down the river. We got soaked and had a blast. I would recommend this to families that are adventurous. The lower Pigeon would have been too mild for us. Come prepared to tip your guide.

We were just here on Thursday 7/25/13. We had a blast and to add to the excitement the wife and I were ejected from the raft. Although ejected and having to swim in the rapids we still felt very safe and our guide Nate did a great job rescuing us! This is a great adventure and worth the money. Our Boys are 15 and 13 and they were yipping and smiling ear to ear! By the way stop at the Bean Sprout if you want a great greasy spoon restaurant. The restaurant is nothing to look at but the beer is cold and cheap and the burgers are to die for!
