It was fine, definitely a venue directed towards seniors as evidenced by the crowd. Some very good shows and concerts in an inviting, unique, cozy atmosphere.

Over the years we have lived in So. Utah, we have had many occasions to visit Tuacahn. We have taken guests during the daytime and the evening performances as well. Even sat thru two torrential downpours awaiting news of the continuation of the performance or a refund :) I would say the only downside is that children far too young to enjoy the performance (or sit that long) have ruined a few "adult oriented" performances - a common occurence in So Utah.

Fortunately, we drove to Tuacahn twice in two days; once to see the amphitheater in the daylight and to spend time in the gift shop and once for the Festival of Lights and the Live Nativity performance. The round-abouts (or whatever they are called) are confusing and the signage adds to the confusion--during the daylight hours! The evening drive would have been so much more troubling had we not already been there during the day. The Festival of Lights and the Live Nativity were well worth the drive though. The Live Nativity appeared to be enacted by local families as well as local livestock, Especially enjoyed the camels. A humble experience.

Worth it just to see the beautiful setting of the theater. I saw "The Little Mermaid" and thought it one of the best productions I have seen (and I have been to Broadway, etc.). So very clever how they created a sea world and they "swim" around. The neon fish scene was spectacular. Good gift shop: wish I had time to look more.Bring a blanket as it can get chilly sitting outside for a while.

I saw The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn and it was AMAZING! The performance rivaled any show that I've seen on Broadway. I hope to go again and highly recommend taking a trip out there. When the play is over, look up and you'll have a great place to stargaze. If you get there early, the high school does a pre-show performance.

We just went to the "Live Nativity" performance and "Festival of Lights" for the first time. A great holiday tradition. Went to the last performance of the year and there was not an empty seat in the place. Definitely worth the $2 charge. We make it to St. George a couple of times each year and always go see at least one of the Broadway quality musicals. They are amazing productions and worth a trip. When you purchase the dinner package, they will throw a backstage tour in for free, if you ask. This year we decided at the last minute to go and sat in the overflow section and they were not bad seats. Don't be afraid to sit there if it is sold out.

Every year, we make the pilgrimage from Las Vegas, to Southern Utah, for Tuacahn's "Christmas in the Canyon" event, which includes a "Live Nativity" performance ($2 per person) and the "Festival of Lights", (free and open to the public). This theater is truly something to behold, especially at this time of year, and the event is simply stunning. Every December, the grounds are transformed into a winter wonderland of lights, sounds, smells, tastes and feel of the Christmas season. With Hot Cocoa and warm Churros in hand, we walk the grounds taking in the the beauty of the thousands of Christmas lights, sit by the open fire in the crisp, December evening air, and watch as dozens of children line up for a chance to sit on Santa's lap, while we wait for the the theater to begin seating for the Live Nativity performance. What a special time, in a special place, at a special time of year.

We went to the Tuacahn Theater to see a short presentation on the birth of Christ. This was the first day for the production, and only the second time it had been performed to the public. They did a great job and along with the music and those amazing red rock cliffs as a back drop, how can you go wrong. Don't miss this one.

Been to every event put on during past year. What a delight! One of the best things about St George. Broadway shows, first rate entertainment all at affordable prices. What's not to love?

Tuacahn has never disappointed! From stunning musicals to fantastic, fun concerts, this venue is top class. Enjoy this gem any time of the year-their website is excellent and you can purchase tickets in just a few clicks. They seem to collect talent for their productions from all over the United States. We have been blown away by their creativity and special effects when putting on such Broadway caliber shows as Disney's "Little Mermaid," "Mary Poppins," and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Don't miss this when you travel to Southern Utah, but leave a seat for me!

This amphitheater is situated outdoors in a red rock canyon miles from the lights and sounds of the city, making it quiet, secluded and picturesque. The stage is oversized, the stadium seating makes every seat a great seat, the sound and lights are precise and the talent is worthy of Broadway. My wife and I have been to this amphitheater many times and have never been disappointed. It's pricey for my budget but still worth making the sacrifice. We'll be back again and again.

Excellent Show, perfect for Halloween enthusiasts, humorous and the performers mingle with the audience and you can take pictures with them after the show.

The amphitheater is a great setting to see a show in a venue different than the average. The rocks are beautiful and the plays are good. I was surprised how good the actors are...very pleasantly surprised. I've tried to go back a few times but when i was in St. George the end of Oct 2014 the only show sounded dumb so we didn't bother. It was not the amphitheatre that stopped us, we like it there. They have and drinks you can get out there...we like it for the family or for couples.

I'm grateful a friend got us tickets to see the Little Mermaid. What a beautiful venue to see a quality production. Arrive early to enjoy the pre-show and to ensure you are seated prior to the start of the show. I also recommend renting the cushions for $2.50.
