Went for day trip from Panguitch Lake. A lot of stuff but not many "antiques" inside, most was outside on porch, old rusty metal items..somewhat overpriced, a lot of Mormon memorabilia, worth a stop but shop across the parking lot had a lot more interesting items and very pleasant staff.

I love antique stores and try to stop by them when I travel. I saw this place off the main road on my way out of the canyon. Upon entering I was overwhelmed with the size of this place and the amount of things that they had. The two older owners were friendly and full of stories and the selection took me back in time. I found a few items I wanted like an antique garnet ring and the prices to me were definitely reasonable ($30). They also had a few gifty non antique items that were nice presents for my nephews. Overall I liked the place, the nostalgia, and the prices. I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Stopped in on our way to Zions and asked about vintage fishing lures for my collection. The younger guy helping me came out with a bag of misc. fishing lures. I picked 3 I liked and asked how much. While I was looking, a guy I assume to be the owner walked by and grumbled "don't sell anything without getting prices from me first." Then when the younger guy (who was the only attentive guy there) went to ask for prices, the owner said "I don't have time for that right now" and blew me off! I asked if it was possible to leave my number and have them call me with prices. Yesterday I get a call and it's the owner, as ornery and un-polite as ever! Growling he said "3 lures are $30 each, if you want em call" That was it. Not hey Thanks for calling sorry I didn't have time etc etc. To end it all these are all EXTREMELY over priced, in pristine condition they wouldn't go for that. The same goes for some vintage comic books, everything is listed about 3 times more than realistic prices, and I didn't dare bargain with an owner like that. Worse experience in a store of this kind ever!

If in Hurricane stop into the Ugly Trailer Antiques. Lots of stuff to look at and some unusual stuff for sure. Prices seemed reasonable and priced to sell. Plus they had dixieland jazz playing on vinyl when I was there so how can you not like that.
