We had to bring my daughter and son in law here we told them about this place friendly people if you are ever near Delmar Delaware stop by and check this place out it has a nice beach theme

My husband, sister, and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was almost an hour drive from our beach house in Bethany but worth the trip. All of the beers we sampled were really good! We do not drink IPA's so I can not comment on those. It is a small but cozy place. We did a casual tour with the manager and she was very informative. They do not serve their own food, but there was a food truck with a good variety of items. We had the pulled pork nachos. They were good and not very expensive either. We found the staff and all of the patrons to be very friendly. We stayed for a few hours and really had a great time. We can't wait to return!

When we walked in the door it really did smell like seawater, but we quickly became used to it. They do samplers of their beer and give you some goldfish to munch on - yum! They sell some merchandise such as grolwers, hoodies, and such, my husband ended up getting a t-shirt. We got a growler filled of our favorite beer that we tried and would stop by again for sure! The service was a little lacking, the women did not seem all that happy to be there but she was not rude or anything and served us promptly. That and the smell of the place are the reasons for 1 star down reduction. Their IPA was also a little boring in my opinion, they definitely seem to focus more on malty beers than hoppy.

Great selection and variety of beer. Had 2 flights so sampled 8 different beers. Hard to pick a favorite all really good. Had a few that were just available Thanksgiving weekend. Bartender was friendly and helpful. Talked to the owner before leaving. Was very nice and has big plans for 3rd Wave. Would make the 2+ hr trip again.

This was our first stop on a tour of Delaware's breweries. We were doing the Wine and Ale tour that Delaware has on the state site. The beer was delicious and the bartender was really friendly. We enjoyed the beer and enjoyed great conversation. It's worth the trip down to southern DE for the beer.
