I've never had a better experience rafting than with Idaho Guide Service. I'm a novice rafter and they make me feel safe and entertained while I'm having the best adventure I could ask for!

Went on white water rafting trip on the hagerman section of the snake river with Daniel as our guide who actually did most of the work and was very knowledgeable of the history of the area.Had a very nice healthy lunch. Went through several class 2-3 rapids. Got wet sometimes which felt good because of the hot day.

We took the Motor Boat Tour from Centennial Park to Pillar Falls. It was very enjoyable and the owner was the tour guide and boat operator. Although I have lived in the area most of my life this was the first time we had done this. It was done in conjunction with my husband's 40th High School Class Reunion.Olin Gardner was knowledgeable about the area, so gave us a bit about the history about what we saw. We were able to get out of the boat and explore the Pillar Falls area for a bit before going back to Centennial Park. It is a great way to see the Snake River canyon, Perrine Bridge and Pillar Falls. This company runs other things like whitewater raft trips, paddle boat and kayak rentals, and "human" powered trips. So take your choice on what you would like to do.

My wife and I wanted a good Snake River rafting experience with Class III (moderate) rapids while in Twin Falls, ID (A great place to visit, by the way!). Idaho Guide Service offered us a 10 mile run down the Snake River including a stop for a wonderful lunch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave the six of us in the raft a running commentary on history, geology, and nature. The rapids were fun and not too much for first-timers. Booking the reservation was easy and all the folks were super friendly. The web site and FAQ's list exactly what to wear and what to bring. They supply a dry sack for you to store car keys, etc. You can bring a camera, just make sure it's waterproof or you have a dry sack to store it. This company offers many other guided tours - class IV rapids, motor boat tours, kayak tours, overnight trips, etc.
