My father first went to McCall on horseback up the Payette River in 1912. My aunt and uncle made the trip as their honeymoon, and my Dad was their horse wrangler. I loved going to the museum with him and my Mom. They had so many memories of a lot of the items in the museum. For Idaho history buffs, it is a must see.

They have nice historic buildings, and a good start for exhibits. The ambassador was friendly, but easily distracted by the fact that we rode our bicycles to the museum. The location is prime in McCall, and if properly funded, could be a more interesting attraction. I don't think you need to plan more than 15 mintues to appease any curiosity. Admission is for the Fire Warden house only.
