highland day spa

I went here with two friends and we all had the WORST experience ever! We went with the day spa package and I wish I could get my money back! The staff was nice but the problem started as soon as we walked thru the door. We went to check in and we were told we were an hour early! We were maybe 10 to 15 minutes early. Went we pointed this out we were told that our group was rescheduled and that we had agreed to this. When we ask who had agreed to this NO ANSWER! So we waited against our better judgement. The staff that helped us were nice and when we explained to the other staff members what had happened they gave us the feeling this kind of thing happens often. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!

I booked one of their February specials for my sister and I. Mistakenly we were scheduled for the wrong package. I understand mistakes happen but waiting for an hour, being told repeatedly someone would come get us for our next service, is unacceptable. To top it of the manager brought out the appointment book to show the wrong package written down. This evidence only proves you're not only incompetent but also rude.

I went to the Highland Day Spa to have a facial; I am older, and have skin that has been damaged by years of over-tanning and too much stress. I was warmly greeted when I arrived, and really made to feel welcome and in good hands. The Esthetician's name was Melinda, and she diagnosed all the problems I had with the skin on my face and neck, and on the back of my hands. I received a WONDERFUL facial treatment, and I felt and looked 10 years younger when she was through. Melinda gave me some clear directions for how to take better care of my skin in the future. I will book a monthly treatment with her, so I can help my skin recover from the abuse it has taken. And, I am calling my ladies, to let them know that Highland Day Spa is a really excellent place to get your skin "in the pink". I am looking forward to seeing what other services the spa offers! Also, I am so glad that I did not let the negative reviews from the past stop me from giving the Highlands a try; whatever issues there were before, there is nothing but high quality spa experience going on here now.
