Open Saturdays and Sundays. Lots of charm. Lots of really old Storm Lake history. My great Grandparents were pioneers in this community. I thought the tour gave me insight into their lives.

We loved the water park and lake. We all got to stay in the lovely rooms on shore side which made it easy for the grand kids to go back and forth between rooms.

We spent a quick weekend at the resort and totally enjoyed our stay from checkin to checkout, staff was friendly and helpful, great location on the lake, good restaurant with patio,paved walking/biking trail was beautiful too. Our room was on lakeside but opposite end from waterpark so we were not bothered by the families enjoying the fun of the great waterpark area, we hope to return soon and bring our kids and grandchildren. It was a nice find not to far from home. The downtown Storm Lake has some fun shopping and restaurants too!

Old fashion tv :(. have pictures to show damage. They are not putting money back into hotel. Walls are thin and you hear everything .

Best variety of slides and aquatic fun around! We especially enjoyed the red and white "funnel" outdoor slide and the lightning fast yellow indoor slide. Also enjoyed soaking up sun beside the outdoor pool - mist from cooling stations were an unexpected perk. Kings Pointe has something to offer all ages.

Liked: The best slide is the green indoor one because you can either sit up to go slower or lie down to go faster. It's the most fun if you switch between the two positions as you're going down the slide. The tube slides were also pretty good, and the outdoor one pretty much drops you right into the lazy river. The two "drop" slides are shorter and less steep than the ones at other parks which I always avoid. The first two times I went on the steeper of the two, it was fun. The third time, I was jolted pretty hard and I was worried I broke a tooth.Disliked: The green outdoor slide was really rough. You get going fast, but the slide is bumpy and the water splashes in your face too much. When it dumps you out, you get plunged way underwater (and I'm not even talking about the "toilet bowl" slide, which we didn't ride). My wife's back hit the bottom pretty hard, and she's pretty slender. The orange indoor slide was pretty similar so we also didn't like it.
