It's cheap and there are cars (and some other random exhibits about local history). But, there are weird dummies in weird places, and the signage just says what type of car it is (nothing about the history of that vehicle). Since I'm not a hugs car junkie (and neither are my friends), it was a pretty big waste of time. I would recommend you do something else.

This is a must see place if you like old cars. I've been in bigger car museums, but not better. I learned a lot more than I expected to about the history of motorized vehicles - both gas & electric powered.

Have visited many auto museums and this one has cars many of the others did not. Nicely displayed. People very friendly. Price of $5 includes both auto museum and history museum. Worth a visit if you like antique cars.

Nice museum and collection of cars. Some of the displays could use some updating on the signage. Many grammatical errors. Would be a bit nicer if there was some consistency to the signage. Thanks for keeping these cars available for future generations to see!

A very nice collection of antique cars. Many in their original unrestored condition. It takes about an hour to go through. More if you want to spend a lot of time on each car. 5$ entry fee.

We didn't have time to go through the museum, so please forgive! We actually went through the HO model train set up on the east side of the museum. You can see the car museum through the large viewing windows however and it looked very complete. The train set up is spectacular, however, and the train club members are more than willing to give you a tour or answer any questions! My husband was in 7th heaven being a train enthusiast! I would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

A great collection of vintage cars and memorabilia made this a very interesting place to visit, enhanced by the juke box, which has to be fed with anything from a dime to a quarter, so that your visit can be accompanied by appropriate music - great fun.

This museum is easy to get to in the Iowa River Landing area just off I-80. There is a nice variety of mostly American makes (with a few tractors). These vehicles are not all pretty and polished. Some of them show lots of evidence of years of use. I like that, though not everyone does. There is a re-creation of part of an old gas station as well which is very interesting. A couple of hours should be plenty of time to look around for the average car buff.

If you haven't seen the Hupmobile that transported your grandparents across the prairies nearly a hundred years ago, this is your chance. The earlier cars are fascinating and the later ones tend to overlap with our memories, suggesting we are becoming antiques.

This place should not be here. It's in Iowa City, and with this many great cars of various makes, ages, you think it would be on Amelia Island in Georgia. Great for kids, for anyone, really. Try and guess what it costs to get in................................. I won't tell.

A good selection of cars through the years. When we were there a few tractors were also on display. which was nice,

This museum boasts a collection of approximately 70 vehicles. The earliest model car on display is from the late 1890's and includes cars manufactured as late as the 1980's. I was impressed with the replica of the gas station circa the 1920's This place is larger than you think and offers enough space to accommodate a large crowd. My little girl had so much fun looking at all of the cars on display. Mom and dad enjoyed it as well. For railroad fans, the Hawkeye Model Railroad Club also has an exhibit on display. It is a nice addition. It was a very fun visit.

Visited with a group--2 women, 2 men. The women really enjoyed the exhibits; the men would probably still be there meticulously examining each vehicle if hunger hadn't intervened! (I'm one of the women, but I'd willingly go back another time, perhaps wearing more comfortable shoes.)
