the muddy waters

Saw the Holmes Brothers on August 16. The drink service was very good. A very friendly atmosphere. I have always heard good things about Muddy Waters. Relaxed enough to have fun, fair prices for the show and drinks. I only wished I lived closer.

Hubby and I have been here quite a few times and love this place! They have live music every Friday and Saturday, Sunday and a few other days, I believe. The bands are generally extremely talented and are just a treat and they often have little, if any, cover. We've enjoyed some topnotch acts here and the owners are friendly and welcoming. We always stop here when in the Quad Cities - just to enjoy the music and friendly folks. The service (this is a bar... I don't think they serve food, or if they do, just snacks) is always super and they seem to have good drink specials and a nice variety of bottled beer, along with some decent choices on tap.
