Nice spot to go to for a shorter trail walk. Walked this trail for the first time on Jan 1, with snow on the ground and it took us just about 1hr. There are spots along the way to cut the distance shorter, but we did the full loop. There are several areas with benches to stop and sit. I am sure in the warmer months it's a gorgeous spot to just relax for a while. You can tell there has been a controlled burn there recently, which is kind of a bummer to look at, but there is a sign at the trail head with the burn explanation. There are primitive toilets at the trailhead as well. Great place to walk the dogs too!

We love living nearby the Sherburne Wildlife Refuge and all that it has to offer. I have hike this trail and snowshoed this trail and it is awesome. A great way to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, forests and wildlife.

There are three different trails you can choose from. It isn't a rigourous as Blue Hill but I think Blue Hill has better scenery. I usually take the Marsh Trail because I like the bridge but I am not sure if it is still there

Very beautiful! We always bring the dogs. (leashed please) and a backpack of goodies! We like to snack in the pine forest! It is very quite and a great walk spring thru fall and winter with little snow. Depending on the weather the misquitos can be bad.
