During our recent vacation to Minnesota, we visited this casino twice. Our hotel was located in the Mall of America. The casino offered a free shuttle bus to and from the mall. The shuttle was very convenient. The casino is very large and clean. There are non-smoking areas which is a plus, but the place was well ventilated in all areas. There were numerous free self serve beverage stations. This was great and I wish the Las Vegas casinos had these. We joined there Players club and we were each given $10 in free play just for joining. How cool is that? We played slots, video poker, and electronic roulette. We ended up breaking even during our first visit and we were ahead about $100 during our second visit. We saw many other people winning. We had a blast here.

This place has rude staff, rude security , all rude . The table games have never treated me good over the course of 8 years and the slots are the tightest I've ever played , this place is close to the twin cities as well so expect to see lots of people spending welfare checks , very common type of occupants for this casino.

This casino is very close to home so it's a fun stop for us on weekends that we have nothing else going on. I love the atmosphere of the casino. People watching is sometimes more fun than the gambling.. I always seem to lose my money very quickly on the slot machines here!

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for your unpleasant experience with the air quality. While much of the casino allows smoking, The Minnehaha Cafe, Promenade Restaurants, Meadows Bar and Grill, The Buffet, convention areas, and the promenade hallway are smoke-free. In addition, we have non-smoking sections in the Bingo Hall and The Steakhouse. Over the last few years we have made significant improvements and replaced a majority of our air handlers, and we will continue to update older models in the near future. We are in the process of re-evaluating our non-smoking areas with the possibility of expanding them.

They tell you the meet the minimum gaming requirements! Well I find it hard to believe they are even doing that! This place has racist gaming actions, extremely poor entertainment value for those who are spending money in their slots specifically the black patrons! Say what you will about this review, but I've watch them closely and for those of you who are of the black race would agree with this review! The same names come up for their promotions, the hand pays are geared to those other than the black population and they continue to ban those that have anything negative to say about the mistreatment of this minority group! I don't really care whether you believe what I'm saying or not but it's illegal gaming practices has me outraged and I'm speaking out about it!!!

I have gone there a total of 4 times in the last 2 months. I like to talk to people around me and get there input about the slots. All negative on winning anything lately. It's always been bad but now its come down to not worth it. All the people I went with told me there will never go back to that Casio. I went with new people every time going there. It's about $100 for 45 minutes of play. I don't expect to win there but at those rates I could be doing something entirely more satisfying. The last time I went there was with my father on January 23rd, 2015. We split up for the first hour and was going to rejoin each other to eat and gamble some more. After the first hour my father came up to me and told me he lost all of his money and I looked in my wallet and saw $2. We laughed and without saying anything we were heading for the exit. Good luck for anyone that is going there, can't say my review and the countless others warned you.

After coming here for a few years i have finally came to the breaking point. I can no longer give the Indians my money. This place is a complete scam. The place needs to be regulated some way. I see no people winning anything as I walk around, the bonus on the machines pay less and less every year. The progressive machines always go up but never payout. When you go back a week later the progressives are still there but of course with a higher amount. The only way you can win in that place is play the max bet on a slot machine and not many people can afford that. And that still doesn't guarantee you will be successful. They charge people a dollar for a lousy hotdog. You think they could afford to give out free food and drinks once in a while like in Vegas.

We love Mystic Lake Casino. I haven't been there in years. I was very impressed with their New Year's Eve show and all of the nice remodeling that has been done. We had a great time and I highly recommend visiting! We like to call it "Mini Vegas". The only thing that was discouraging is that they don't have any poker tables.

I have visited this casino about 5 times. NOT ONCE have I or any of the people I went with won ANYTHING. The machines here just vacuum the money right out of your pocket. It is a nice casino, large, with a good choice of machines, but I will not go there ever again because of how tight the machines are. Bonuses are few and far between, and pay LOW when you do get one. Save your money and go to Treasure Island or one of the Grand casinos.

This is my second review after 6 months. I have been going here every week since last six months and nothing has changed slots are getting tighter, promotions are getting smaller, food and drinks prices are getting expensive. I don't understand why should people visit this casino when you don't win anything and buy everything for expensive prices. I have spoken to atleast 10 different regular people all of them shared same experience. People keep out of playing slots try blackjack where casino advantage is less. When you play slots and lose money you will definetly remind my review because its gauranteed.

Regular casino. Lots of machines. Lively. If you're in the area check it out but don't go out of your way...............

I have been frequenting this Casino for over 15 years. The last 4 years I have been going several times per month. Its has never been easy to win here, but during the past 4 years things have gotten so bad on the machines, I've decided to throw in the towel on this place!! Whether it is video keno or poker it doesn't matter, your chances of winning have decreased immensely. Sure, I have gone on streaks playing 4 card video keno (the game I have exclusively played for over 3 years), but then I'll lose several hundred dollars on one visit on the same machine I had been winning on!! I was out there today and it took over 100 dollars playing a total of 20 cents a pull (4 keno games), to hit one 5 out of 5 for forty bucks!! The machines are way too tight...PERIOD. Many of the patrons I talk to say the same thing. I've noticed the amount of people gaming has gone down noticeably during the past year or so. Anyway, they do have a pretty good Buffet even though they've raised prices several months ago. The place is clean, but I have to admit even in the no smoking sections you can still smell the smoke. They should ban smoking altogether in the Casino (you can't smoke anywhere else in the U.S.). Anyway, except for enjoying a nice buffet I won't be going out there anymore. Good Luck if you go!!

It was my first time gambling, and this casino made it a great experience. For being a casino that allows smoking, the room is well ventilated so it's not very noticeable. The slots are great, restrooms clean, and workers are friendly! If you want a good time, Mystic Lake is the place to be!

The 2014 Christmas show was full of fun, excitement, thrills and lots of laughter. The acrobatics were phenomenal, the tightrope act was nothing less than kept me closing my eyes as the two performers were over 25 feet in the air, no nets or spotters. The whole show in itself was wonderful. It was also very family oriented. You won't want to miss it, only a few more days to see!

I attended the attraction Borealis a Holiday Cirque at Mystic Lake Casino this last weekend with my family. While a bigger platform works well for the Cirque type shows, this was an excellent use of the area to display the always entertaining Cirque show. Plan for magical, high flying, comical, and mystical mixture of talents on the stage at any given time. There will be a few times that you scratch your head and say to yourself "how do they do that!" It is worth the cost of admission and you will not be disappointed.
