I found this by accident as I ride my bike on the trail alongside it several times a week. It didn't really look like much from the trail but I always meant to stop by. I was completely blown away by the sculptures, repurposed old boat with colored glass portals and petting zoo. I would love to take a group out here have a bonfire and play mini golf. It is incredible and amazingly enough it is affordable too. Totally worth the drive from Minneapolis!

We visited here on a recent Saturday on the recommendation of a friend (hadn't heard of the place before). We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We enjoyed the unique (and sometimes challenging) mini-golf holes - with punny titles - as well as the sculptural art woven through and around the holes. One of our number was an animal lover who delighted in greeting each goat and horse as we circled the sculpture garden portion before relaxing at the carved stone table/chairs (near 'Stonehenge'). We will definitely be back!

I went here with friends and we had a blast strolling through the sculpture garden and playing mini-golf!

Very fun cool course and sculptures! Great place for kids 7 up to adults. Take some extra time to roam the grounds to see great open air art and farm animals. My favorite sculptures were the rock paper scissors and the drag n fly.

This is a great mini-golf adventure, it is on the bike trail so you can even get some holes in during your dakota trail outing. Always have a great time.

We drove 40 miles to get here and it was well worth it. It's a combination metal and rock sculpture garden, goat farm, and of course, mini-golf. There were only 14 holes. Each of one them had an intriguing design that incorporated one or more of the sculptures. And then a goat would wander by! There are some refreshments for both humans and goats. There are also sculptures that served as benches and picnic tables.

Visited this spot in July 2014 with out-of-town guests. A real gem. Lovely setting outside the Twin Cities proper, wonderful sculptures around which the 14 holes are built, as well as a separate sculpture park area with different table arrangements to picnic in. Goats, chickens ducks and horses hanging out in comfortable pens and willing to interact with children of all ages. Very reasonable entry fee of $8/adults, $7 children. A few refreshments available, along with homemade jams. I felt like I'd been invited into an artist's sanctuary, but a very welcoming one that encouraged engagement. Go! You'll love it.

If you like creativity combined with mini golf, this is the place for you. I could never have imagined a place like this. First- the mini golf. Not your typical mini golf. The holes can be very challenging. They are created around small and large sculptures. The creativity in the mini golf is very unique. Once you get through the mini golf ( and it may take longer to linger over each hole and appreciate the use of sculptures), you can visit the goats and horses (we only saw one horse the day we went, but a number of baby goats) you can wander thru the sculpture garden area. The entire place is a work of art! A bike trail runs in back of the parking lot. The 'sign' for Big Stone Mountain is easy to miss. Look for a large rock on the side of the road that directs you to the mini golf. The day we went cost was $7 per person.

This is just a small little place with Minature Golf ... many sculptures ... and even animals to pet.We did my daughter's senior photos here and could not be more pleased!!! I think it would be a great place for a nice family visit ... have an ice cream bar ... leisurely pace.FUN!

The course could be a bit better in some ways, but the rest of the experience makes up for it. See the sculpture garden, play some mini golf which is itself also a sculpture garden, and appreciate the fact that the world is full of some very creative people. It's unlikely you have ever seen anything quite like this.

Great minigolf, very creative holes. It also has very interesting sculptures. In fact the holes are all sculptures themselves. Challenging but fun

Found out about this first on roadside America app, and was thrilled to see it in person! We took 3 kids there and had a blast. Definitely not your usual mini golf place. You can roast marshmallows at stonehenge while a big black pig lays in the shade, pet horses, feed goats, see sculptures, and of course play golf too. The course is very creative- even a water maze! They also have snacks like frozen ice treats for afterwards. The landscaping is pretty with lots of perennials which attract hummingbirds and butterflies. We ended up staying more than 2 hours. Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby. There is a portapotty and an outdoor sink, but no flush toilets. Parking is free.

I love miniature golfing and this place is exceptional. The course is through a challenging sculpture garden. It is one of a kind and a must see and play course. Highly recommended by my whole family. There are also farm animals you can see and feed.

This is a great mini golf course. I'd say that Annie Rose described the course pretty good. They have all kinds of neat sculptures all around the place. They have goats to pet. I was there with my 10 and 13 year old grandson and they loved it!!

A mini golf course built by a sculptor! This 13 hole [and growing] mini golf course is worth the drive to the far western Minneapolis suburb of Minnetrista. Each hole is adorned with custom sculptures and art items. There is even a pen of goats to feed, and a field full of other sculptures, from over a half dozen artists...some with wind driven motion. A great outing for kids and adults alike.West of Mound Minnesota, on Hennepin county road 110W.
