Not what I expected exactly. You arrive at the park center and wait for 20 minutes. Then hike out to the start of the course - no more than a mile. It was a buggy time of day and year. The course doesn't take up too much space, you can see the finish from the start. You have to wait a while for people ahead of you to make it to check points (so I recommend getting to the front of the heard). But once you're up - it is incredible. The view from the ground doesn't do it justice. I love thrills, but I am afraid of heights. This tested me in the perfect way. And the views of the river were incredible. Great photo op's from above - so don't forget a small camera that you can tuck into your clothes!

I went with 3 family members (all adults) on a Saturday to do the ropes course at this nature center. The course was very fun and challenging, and you feel completely safe the entire time. The views are fantastic and the guides are very helpful and friendly. It is suitable for just about anyone to try, but I would avoid it if you have any sort of trouble with your arms/shoulders as you support yourself quite a bit with them. The course took us about an hour to complete, though they said we could take as long as we wanted and we did not rush. The only downside was that this is 25 dollars per person at the time we went, and that felt just a little steep for the experience. If it was something like 15 dollars I'd go again, but at 50 dollars for an hour experience for a couple, one time is enough.
