Great golf course that rivals many in the state. The front nine is pretty open and the back nine cuts some beautiful paths near Sand Creek.

The Ridges has a wonderful Sunday Brunch with plenty of choices. A beautiful place with a gorgeous view out the windows overlooking the golf course. I've been there many times and never have been disappointed. Wedding receptions, funeral brunch, showers, fund raisers with dinners and silent auction....they can accommodate anything with ease!

In late September I played The Ridges of Sand Creek, on County 21, just south of Jordan, MN. What a beautiful day it was, and this being the first time I have played this course I was very impressed. Upon first appearance it looks to be a prairie style, open course, but the first two holes takes you down to the Sand Creek amongst the mature trees along an active railroad track. The Creek winds back and forth creating a challenge for a golf course architect, but resulting in a very pleasant and challenging golf experience. This course is especially beautiful in the autumn with the oaks and maples filled with color. The back nine also starts at the club house but quickly returns to the creek with similar holes as the front nine. There are a few forced lay ups, especially from the front tees on the back nine that make it difficult, especially if you have never played it before. There is one very short pare three, (121 from the back tees!) that must be there because it is the only kind of hole that would fit the terrain. The practice facilities are very good and the club house comfortable and friendly. The price is reasonable making this a very good value, especially for a beautiful and well conditioned course.
