When you arrive you might be put off by the austere World War Two concrete bunker like appearance or by the three border collie dogs barking and charging around like . . well, border collies. But, persevere because behind the forbidding exterior lurks a very friendly wine maker and some excellent wines, particularly the Zinfandel - but bring a wrap or jacket. The owner put a lot of research into choosing the site and his dedication shows in the wines. Not cheap but some of the best Zin going, in my opinion . . . . . and yes, we'll be back!
