Thanks so much for taking the time to write! We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience at our Enoteca and particularly the wine. Jules, our winemaker (and, coincidentally, my wife), is brilliant and does a terrific job. I will pass the complement on to her...she will be very pleased! I'm sorry that the cheese plate seemed insufficient - generally we get comments that it is too much food! I will work with our kitchen crew to make sure that we are more consistent. We are very proud of our crew of wine professionals and I am so glad- though not at all surprised - that Rick did a good job. He, like all of our folks, is not only very knowledgeable but also a truly genuine person. Thanks again for taking the time to write such a well thought out note. We appreciate all comments and do our best to use them to continue to improve the experience at our Enoteca. Please come by and see us again soon and when you do, please ask for me - I would very much like to thank you in person.ScottCo-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your visit. The Enoteca (our wine bar) has a really cool vibe in the warmer weather but just about everything we do in the summer we continue to do all year round (though we do it indoors). This includes our Thursday open mic nights, our What's For Dinner Fridays and our live music Saturday nights (featuring the world's best woodfire pizza!).We look forward to seeing you again soon and make sure to ask for me when you come, It would be great to meet you! Thanks again,Scott

Thank you so much for writing this comment. As much as we do need and want to hear all comments, good and bad, it is really nice to see one like yours. We work really hard to deliver the "Wine Country" experience to our guests, complete with good wine, and it is gratifying when we hear we have been successful. We are a young wine region and we here at Auburn Road are still perfecting the experience and dealing with our share of growing pains. But we are really proud of the wine being made in our Vintage Atlantic Wine Region and excited to be part of what we believe (honestly!) will be the country's next important wine region. Thanks so much for supporting local wine and for visiting us. And thanks so much for taking the time to write and for the kind words. Please come see us again soon and when you do, please ask for me - I would love to meet you, thank you in person, and talk to you more about your experience at our place. Please feel free to call me or email me with any other thoughts or recommendations. My cell is 215-625-4863 and my email is scott@auburnroadvineyards.com.Scottco-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards

Hi Taylor:I am truly sorry that you had such an awful experience at our place. It means everything to us that our guests have the best experience possible. To have us have failed as badly as we did in your case is inexcusable. We are working hard to improve on these shortcomings. I would very much like to discuss your experience with you and your boyfriend in person and also to apologize in person. I would very much appreciate it if you would contact me at scott@auburnroadvineyards.com or my cell at 215-625-4863 so that we might have the opportunity to make up in some small way for our performance of this weekend. And thanks for taking the time to write this review. I'm sure it was no fun to do but we will be better for you having taken the effort and we thank you for it. I look forward to hearing from you.ScottCo-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards

Thanks so much for taking the time to write. It matters greatly to us to know what our guests' experiences are like. I'm very sorry that you did not have a good experience with us. We do our best to control the fruit flies but we are a working farm and winery and the whole facility is contained in that one location. At harvest time, the fruit flies come out on force, unfortunately. As for outdoor seating, we can always take the inside chairs and tables outside for you - next time you visit, please ask and we would be happy to do it. I want to make sure your next visit it special so please email me and let me know that you are coming and I would like to take you on a tour personally and taste some wines with you. My direct email is scott@auburnroadvineyards.com and my cell is 215-625-4863. I look forward to welcoming you back to Auburn Road for a better experience! Thanks again,ScottCo-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards

We have been here many times; it is a favorite for a Sunday afternoon. We sit outside, each with a glass of wine sharing a cheese platter or some bruschetta. It is an excellent way to wrap up the weekend. This time though we went for the Friday night five course food and wine tasting experience. The food was outstanding, the wines were great and carefully paired with the initial cheese sampler. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. The pasta arrabiata had a perfect kick to it, and it was exactly the right amount of sauce. None of the plates of this five course meal were too large; it was just the right amount of food, including the dessert. I did not leave feeling bloated. The personnel was very knowledgable, attentive, and super friendly. The decor is lovely, inside and out. You are in the middle of a vineyard - how can this not feel great?! The only problem I have with the indoor dining room is that there are no sound absorbing tiles or anything like that. It is quite noisy. Even just putting slider pads under the chair and table legs would help getting rid of the grating sound every time someone moves their chair. Other than that though, I am really glad the Auburn Road Winery is so close and has some really good wines. We will definitely be coming back as often as possible. Next time, it will be to try the wood fired pizza!

The place was full of life and it was a pizza night on Saturday. Wine tastings $5 but you get the glasses. The wine selection is good - your whites, reds and sweet and fruity. Places to sit and relax inside and outdoors. The botega is surrounded by nice vineyards which enhance the atmosphere.

I have been disappointed with wine tasting n that area. Celebrated Chadds Ford and Va La were disappointing. Another story with Auburn Road Vineyard. Not a fancy place, but a very friendly one. Music every Saturday, sitting outside next to the vineyard. Pizzas from the truck are just great (if you like thin crust, also called flatbed in some places), and wine is good! They get the most our of this not so famous area for wine.

Their wines are nice. Took a tour of the place that was very informational. Just not a fan of having no sitting at the bar. Kind of awkward doing a tasting.

Maybe we hit the Auburn Road Vineyard on the wrong day yesterday but we did not find it inviting at all. We participated in the wine tasting, 5 of the 15 tastings were not available and the tasting was a whisper compared to other wineries we had visited that day. We were sorry we skipped another winery to go here. There were 8 of us and we still made a bad situation good by sharing two bottles of wine on the outdoor patio set just outside the vineyard.

Good food, good wine, good service, awesome view. What more can you ask for? The vineyard dog was a nice addition. Very friendly.

Nice little farmhouse set up. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We went for valentines day weekend and they served chocolates to compliment the wines. Nice menu for the kitchen. We ordered the garlic bread and it was warm and yummy!
