We love the shade and play equipment. This place is nothing fancy, but it is perfect for toddlers. Plenty of picnic tables, and air conditioned indoor play area. The indoor grocery store area was very clean. The indoor main room was also very clean and had a good variety of playthings. We did a $50 membership (5 visits). Not bad for a 1-3 hour trip where we can bring our own food, not have pricey junk food and toys around every corner, and not have to pay for parking or a bridge toll. We are also members of the phila zoo, nj aquarium, and discovery museum. I'd take paws over the discovery museum any day. We have a 20 month old (big and acts older) and an almost-5 yr old (acts about a year younger). Both love it. This is probably not the best place for a child over the age of 7 or so. But for toddlers and young kids, this is perfect.

Big disappointment.Shoddy everything.Creepy farmhouse with snakes and a buffalo head on the wall.Pathways were unswept.More playground equipment than animals.

My daughter's kindergarten class had their class trip there two weeks ago. I held off on my review to see if they would respond to my complaint, but they haven't so here it is. The grounds are overgrown and rocky. Every child fell at least once. The "playground" equipment is old, and in need of repair. The "dairy barn" is extremely dirty, and none of the exhibits work. The formerly award winning butterfly garden is dead and overgrown. The absolute worse part is that the staff, or I should say one staff member was hideously rude. She went out of her way to be rude, and humiliating to the children. She has no business being near any customers. She was so bad I at first thought it was a joke, but sadly it wasn't. Avoid at all cost if you have small children.

We took our 3-years old granddaughter and we all loved it. We used to take her father 30 years ago and they've done a lot with it since then, but it still maintains its simple charm. Volunteers were great and unlike the litigious-conscious Johnson's Farm, you still get up close with friendly animals. I highly recommend it.

Yesterday was our first and presumably last visit to the farm. We attended a birthday party for a 2 year old. There was no rhyme or rhythm to the establishment. The "farm" was disappointing and not well kept. It was not a petting zoo, which the hosting mother expected for a 2 year old's party. The very un-leveled ground was littered with large protruding roots and large rocks. All the kids (ages 2-12) tripped during my brief visit to the animal section. The remaining grounds had many areas that appeared unkempt. The outdoor restroom facilities did not have lighting, nor did the door latch completely for the women's room. The best parts of the establishment was the indoor toddler play zone and the outdoor wooden play structures.

Paws farm was one of my favorite places to go with my children when they were young, about 7 years ago. However, I was very disappointed this past visit. The indoor barn smelled awful. My son played in a grocery area there, and he pointed to the floor where there was a dead mouse. An a/c unit was pulled out slightly to reveal mouse droppings, and there was a lot of them. It seemed no staff walked the indoor parts of the place before they opened the place. I know they treat their live animals well, but some care should really be taken to clean and make sure the areas that young children play in are rodent free and clean.

Our grandchildren loved going to Paws. It is nearby and lots of fun. The path is easy for little ones to follow and they especially enjoyed seeing and feeding the animals. There are large wooden toys to climb on and play in (a ship, a house) and a kid-sized grocery store (farmer's market) to shop in. There is a small area that is inside the main building that has snakes, turtles and a few other small animals. There is also a tree house and a small boat in the same building. Everything is scaled to little kids and they are happy to play for a while. We can easily spend and hour and half there on a nice day. Not great if it is cold or inclement weather - my grandchildren like to play outside there. It is good for kids up to about 6 or 7.

great for young children and grandparents and parents! they have lots of animals and it is a nice walk through the woods. The kids were younger last year and they really enjoyed feeding the goats and seeing the variety of animals.

First time visit that kept our granddaughter happy, she didn't want to leave. It was a fun visit and highlight of her day

There are a number of different activities that kids of about 4 or 5 years old love. It's not cheap, but what is these days. A great afternoon's activities when you just have to get out of the house. Feed the animals, shop at the "supermarket", visit the veteranarian's office, go through the old farmhouse, it's all fun for the kiddies.

This is a great community business for a low cost getaaway. Younger children under 8 will really enjoy it, but my teenager does too. Enough animals to see and generate conversation. The store is cute. Nice to be able take the kids away from technology and let them use their imagination.

We visited Paws for a 4 year old birthday. The kids had a blast. The butterfly garden is quaint. The outdoor play equipment was a hit and was safe. After the kids had pizza a cake we all did the petting zoo & barn market. The big & little kids loved it!

Chaperoned a preschool field trip to Paws. The children we went with were all about 4 to 5 years old and I have to say that they loved it. There wasn't much complaining on our bus. The children were able to pet a snake, a lizard, a turtle and a chinchilla (my daughter's fav). The presenter made sure everyone had Purell to wash hands, which was good, especially after touching the animals/reptiles. Along the trails, they were able to see donkeys, lamas, chickens and roosters, a peacock, and ponies and more. The little grocery store seemed to be the place everyone wanted to stay, and honestly, I think we had to pull a couple out very relunctantly. I think they could have stayed there all day. The rest rooms were decent, wouldn't say perfect. I would definitely consider going back with the kids alone sometime.

I take my kids there at least one or twice every 2 months. They love it and especially the litte grocery store in there. Therir is a petting zoo they love as well as the inside where you can play

Place is not clean at all. The play sets looked all very dirty. Inside the little play house looks like it hasn’t been clean in months, the wood train set we had to clean off at least 3 inches of leaves for our child to play on it. The one building smelled but I figured it got some retiles in there no biggie. However the other building has no animals and smelled much worse. There is a fake man milking a cow who has a missing arm, then in the back where there is a nature scene, there is a bird with no head. My child did enjoy the animals that was about it.
