I was actually looking forward to giving this company my business and even being a vendor. However, the lack of professionalism astonished me.I criticized the company on their Facebook page after seeing serious issues repeated time and time again and either not being addressed or being addressed unprofessionally. My main issue with this company (which still seems prevalent) is the lack of professional communication. For example, I had applied to be a vendor months in advanced and have still not heard anything back from the company. I have seen countless Facebook posts from others who have brought up the same or similar issues. I finally posted a question on Facebook about when I would hear back, and when someone responded, I was simply given a number to call and told to speak with someone. I do not believe it should be my job to follow-up and this is what prevented me from pursuing a relationship with this company. An apology was never even issued, which is also unprofessional. This is a major problem that needs to be addressed. There has also been false advertising with the amount of vendors. They have blamed this on "growing pains" but if they did not secure the amount of vendors they claimed would be present, then they should not have put that number in your promotional materials. That is their own fault and so people who complain about their disappointment with that should not be criticized. Time and time again, I have seen the owners delete negative and/or critical Facebook posts from their vendors or consumers. The owners also “like” posts or leave encouraging replies to Facebook posts that bash people who have left criticism. Ultimately, I think they need to stop shaming out people who are being constructive or even critical, and act more professional. I have never seen a company act this way. This behavior only creates animosity. Finally, I would like to say that sever users (myself included) have been blocked from commenting on their Facebook page, which is why I will never give this company my business. One day they will act unprofessional to the wrong person and/or too many people and will probably be left wondering why their business failed.

We attended this FLEA MARKET as a vendor the past week. This was already week 3 and the crowds have vanished. The 1st week was busy as expected it would. But the crowds have not returned. Very unorganized,NO food truck village as advertised. They do have a few food vendors with tents and a cpl concession trailers. Lots of empty spaces gaps between vendors. You would enjoy Berlin or Columbus much better. The handicapped parking for those who need it. Well this is no more than an old equipment storage area fenced in paddock. The asphalt is all broken up,debris all over with broken glass. Large pieces of rusty metal scattered through out. It was supposed to be Mardi Gras weekend. Aside from some terrible banging from a bunch of rejected individuals walking around banging,it was terrible....Then a female staff member who takes care of the outside vendors. Was very rude in the way they chastised a vendor selling 50's and 60;s cd. He was playing the cd's and not loud. But was told his music took away from this event and turn it down so low. Honest people it wasn't that loud. It was his 3rd week being there. And nothing was said in prior weeks. The mannerism in which he was spoken too was rude.. You could not hear the music more than a cpl spots away it was. It's days are numbered before it started.........You can't post honest post on their Facebook page. They delete it as they don't want the negative honest press to hurt their business. Well geuss what Mercato...You can't delete this honest spot on review....Oh and if your looking to make money and have a good product...run...
