My dads buddy had just been here for lunch one day so i decided to come for dinner on a friday night. We waiting a long time for our waitresss to come over. we ordered fries, shrimp and crab cake. All were previously frozen, which i wasnt surprised but thought since they were new i would be getting a little better. I did not like the seasoning on the fries and didnt touch a one. The shrimp were just ok. Took the crab cakes home to dad and he could tell they were frozen and said nothing to write home about. I had to wait long times for the waitresses to bring our drinks and food. I would have complained to the owner/manager because he was actually on site but he was too busy smoozing the locals he knew instead of introducing himself to the people who actually are not from gloucester who bring more money in. he didnt know us, could have asked how everything was going but didnt care. So i wont be back! if he did ask id tell him the food sucks and service is horrible. wont last long sorry people! dont waste your money and go here! better places around!

Rich Dolson did it Right!!! If "the edge" is an indication of where Gloucetser is headed than all is good!!!!

My wife and I decided to have lunch at the new Tavern on the Edge. We walked in and sat ourselves. It took about 10 min before anyone acknowledged us. My wife got a sandwich and I got a shrimp and pasta platter. We were both pleased with our food. The server was very friendly but everything seemed very chaotic. It was the first week they were open so I assume they were still working the kinks out. We were pleased with the food and will try it again.
