The park is beautiful especially when the leaves are turning. It's also great to see the Cherry Blossoms. It's beautiful to walk down by the water. There's a great track for jogging and/or walking. There are basketball courts, baseball fields, horseshoe pits, bocci ball, gazebos, a great playground and places to fish.

It is a beautiful and a very clean park overall. It's fun for all ages. Has beautiful views of Newark bay. There is a kids playground too. Nice place to jog, bbq and hangout with family and friends. A must see in Bayonne. And it's free!!

With it's trees, paths, childrens' play grounds and waterfront on Newark Bay, the Stephen R. Gregg park is a wonderful spot for an afternoon. While Newark Bay isn't the vista of the New York side, the waterfront is a pleasant place to watch fishermen try their luck. There also are ball fields near the water and a shady picnic grove (with facilities for charcoal grilling-- get there early to "steak" your claim to a grill). This park still maintains much of the charm it had when first opened 100 years ago.

This is the Premier park in Hudson County. Located uptown in Bayonne City directly across Newark Bay from Newark and Elizabeth. This waterfront park is well kept, clean and safe. Ball fields, bike paths, running track and much more. Usually a couple of food trucks in the nice weather. A great place to go out and play or just a real nice walk along the Bay. Highly Recommended, even for a drive through..

Bayonne Park sunsets are the best. The trees in the park are beautiful in any light. In fall there is a brilliant leaf cover of yellows, oranges & reds and in spring you have the cherry blossoms to look forward to. The rotundas, the stately staircase and boat ponds make beautiful pictures both remembered and in the present.

It's nice to include Bayonne Park in my run route. The breeze coming from the bay is refreshing giving me some kind of a push to keep going. People at the park are mostly considerate giving me a room to pass by instead of going around them. The park is safe because I mostly run in the late afternoon or early evening when there's still light. I have not tried running yet at night. There's also an oval in the park for walkers and runners but I choose to run in the pavement allowing me to explore the place. This is also a good place to simply relax by the bench facing the bay while taking a sip of your chosen beverage (I'm sure alcohol is prohibited).

The is in excellent location in Bayonne where the locals enjoy to recreate.It's a large park along the Hudson river with beautiful landscaping. ShoppingCenter and restaurant is just nearby.

Easy access off major road with public transportation. large park with beautiful and diverse landscaping. excellent location in Bayonne and not far from great restaurants and shopping.

This is a nice park for the locals to recreate. This park is not a tourist location, unless someone wants to take in the view of Newark Bay, and Port Newark across the bay.

This a beautiful asset to Bayonne and unfortunately, it got hit hard with Hurricane Sandy. I visited before and after the storm and hopefully it will recover quickly. The boardwalk is beautiful and provides a great space to walk your dog. The open public facilities are well maintained and police patrol the area frequently. I have gone during the afternoon and early evening and on each occasion, I have felt rather safe.

Just had a baseball game with friends and family, used the 16th Street field. Had fun, but the grounds could be kept up better. The park is HUGE so plenty of space, since we are a peninsula, water water everywhere. Enjoi!
