Was a beautiful day out on the river. My guide Jacob was awesome. He taught me a lot about fishing. He is very knowledgeable with all things fishing! Most of all we had a lot of fun and caught some good fish. Good company and good fishing. Can't get much better than that.

My first trip with Rocky Mountain Guide Ventures was like it came right out of a novel. After setting up everything with my guide "Jacob" in prior phone calls, I flew into Jackson Hole for a long awaited vacation. While driving to the location where we were suppose to meet my car conveniently decided to have a flat tire heading down to Star Valley. After punching the steering wheel a few times I decided to get out and proceeded to change the tire on the shoulder of the road. Jacking up the car, "No problem".... Taking off the flat tire " No problem"..... Well after getting the spare out a gentleman kindly pulled over and asked if I needed help. After changing the tire and chatting, I found out that this nice person that helped me was indeed non other than "Jacob himself !!! Anyway, to make a long story short... We went to a service station to buy some snacks, launched the boat and went on a 4 hour float which turned into about 5hrs. After all was said and done, I caught so many fish that I lost count, the scenery was unreal, and the hospitality was second to none ! In my travels I have hired several different guides for various trips from hunting, to fishing, and even scenic trips with family for vacation and work.What started out as a trip that could have been difficult at the least, became one of the best and most memorable experiences to date !!!
