mavericks bar and grill - arlington, tx

We randomly found this place online and decided to give it a try. We briefly questioned our choice when we got there as its kind of hidden and the building from the outside looks deceiving. But don't let its appearance fool you! The staff was awesome! Both the bartender that was working as well as off duty staff that were hanging out, all were extremely nice and helpful. I had the brisket tacos and my boyfriend had the brisket sandwich. We were both more than pleasantly surprised! Stopped in to watch one of the bowl games and ended up staying for almost all 3 of them because of the great atmosphere and staff. We would highly recommend. And will definitely go back next time we are in town!

We frequent the Maverick for a quick dinner. The food here is pretty good. We like the Brisket Tacos and quesadillas. The happy hour well drinks are a great value for the money. Hard to understand why this place doesn't draw in a bigger crowd. Must be the hard to find location. Would we go back? Yes.
