This is a nice course but they are finally getting it back in shape, hopefully they will have it in better shape.

I play this course 4 to 5 times a year and it never improves due to poor management. They can't even level the tee boxes or fill in the sunken in irrigation ditches that have had settling not to mention that the bunkers are dirt and rocks. The greens are the worst in the metroplex. As long as Gary Black is the manager play somewhere else.

Sorry to the staff that run Twin Wells but the course should be shut down or completely renovated. Played it a week ago in August...and rough and large parts of the fairways were dead from lack of water..the rough had cracks from poor watering. The greens didn't appear to have been cut in 48 hours...so slow that even downhill puts were stopping half way. The "sand traps" gave new meaning to the word sand...mostly or all dry hard-baked dirt. The areas along the creek were filled with trash. The cart guy chewed us out for not returning our cart until 8:30 pm...no body had told us the course closed earlier and we didn't see it printed anywhere. Overall my impression is that this course needs huge support from the city of Irving to stop being an embarrassment.

Sadly, typifies many Munis. There are some interesting Holes, including two under a highly elevated freeway. Price is reasonable. But expect playing conditions that mirror many ( thankfully, not all ) Munis. Very little $$$ appears to be put back into the Course -- and supervision of the golfers who use the Course. I won't be back.

Twin Wells is a boring golf course. I've played it twice...it was in decent shape and no complaints about it except it is boring...seems like every hole is the same.

Went there on a couple deal, free round with one paid round plus a free golf cart! Normally, I walk the course, but glad we had the car this 100 degree day...went with my spouse and we had a good time, even with the heat. The course was in fair shape, pretty burned and some muddy places, but a great round!

Haven't played there in a long time. I found the cart paths the worst I have ever seen. I know it's hard to keep them up in a flood plain, but these just shook your teeth. Early in the Spring, it may be good sense to keep the grass long until it's stronger. So, the tees were shaggy. The greens didn't putt too bad but had large patches of brown in many of them. I would be concerned about playing them as we get more hot weather. As I said in the title, for the money, there are some newly remodeled City of Dallas courses for the same money that are in spectacular shape. I urge you to consider those before Twin Wells.

This course is located in the Trinity River bottoms... yes, the river runs right beside holes 5,6,and 7... and always prone to flooding...the course personnel do a great job in keeping this course playable...great value and very wide open...challenging for mid to high handicappers...would recommend anyone to try a round

I play alot of golf at different courses in the Dallas area. There are a few more courses around that are in better shape for the price. The one thing that really sticks out at this course is the trash in all the creeks.Number 8 hole has a creek that runs along the right side and we saw car parts, and alot of trash along the hole. I have never seen a course this dirty. I cannot believe the City of Irving has not seen or even cleaned this area. It seems like a enviormental hazard. With all the dirty creeks I could not recommend this course to anyone.Last Game there,

This is a great course for the price and great location. I have played in tournaments and as little as nine holes for a quick afternoon trip. I will continue playing here for a long time, thanks.

This is a great "practice" course. It is open and good price. Played this week and it was pretty green since we have had so much rain lately. Greens in good shape. New golf carts too.Very nice and friendly staff.
