A must see! This location is an excellent wedding place! The wine tasting is good! Came back and brought our son. It is that amazing!

I have been to this winery on several occasions throughout the years. Everytime is a great time. Well decorated, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great wine, great experience, and an interesting tour! One of the more fun wine tours I have taken.

The grounds are well groomed and the facility is well designed and fitting for the Lubbock area. We felt welcome for the tasting however the atmosphere did not have the warm and inviting aspect as some Texas wineries have. We were able to chose the 5 wines to sample ($5 fee) which is always positive. For the most part, the wines had good flavors. I would recommend stopping and enjoying.

Well...looks like I'm the minority here. We found them extremely rude and unprofessional. We were going to stop there on a Saturday around 6:30 pm to taste (and we live two hours away). I have been there before and have enjoyed them in the past. Anyhow...their voice recording stated that the tasting room was open til 8 pm. When I called, the general manager told me that they closed at 5:30 pm. I explained to him what their voice recording stated and he argued with me! Then he stated that they will fix it...and hung up on me! I called back and spoke with a young lady. I told her I didn't appreciate being hung up on. She told me that they closed at 5:30 pm...and to check the website which she stated was correct. I did check the website and it said that they closed at 6 pm...NOT 5:30. I called back again and she was rude as well...asking in a snippy voice was that the only reason I called back. Three days later they still have NOT fixed their website or phone message. Frankly...it's obvious they could not care a less. BTW...they don't have a chef anymore either so no more food served at the winery.I would NEVER recommend this winery to anyone. If I could I would give them zero stars. Go to Llano a couple of miles away where they treat you with respect.

Totally enjoyed our tasting experience. Beautiful facility for a casual outing or special event. Helpful and friendly staff too!

Bad business from the beginning. Visited the winery the end of October. Mom bought me 12 bottles of wine as Christmas gift to give me Gold status. The brochure was incorrectly worded not 12 bottle a year (as the girl continued saying) but 4 shipment of 12 bottles 4 times a year. I pointed it out and they apologized new ownership and it was changed the next day. I enjoy wine and travel to Lubbock often so decided to continue the membership so I gave my credit card so my Mom's wouldn't be charged for the remainder shipments. A week later I checked the website and it showed 6 bottles, not 12 ordered and wrong membership status. I emailed/called - no response. Called/emailed again first week in December to find out why my wine hasn't arrived. A week later Sue did call/emailed me back and my shipment was being processed. It was processed alright - to my credit card for the 12 bottles already paid for with incorrect wines and for almost double the amount and they didn't charge for shipping. It had to be shipped since we were flying and we agreed to let it go with the November shipments. I also had to bring it to their attention their pricing was wrong. It was refunded and my wine was promised to be packaged and shipped that day and didn't charge for the shipping. Thinking it was all resolved waited for the wine to arrive, it is now the end of December AND NO STILL NO WINE that was paid for in October. I have left several messages/emails and no response. I am guessing they got that wrong too and shipped it to my mom overseas, but cannot get someone to confirm how and where they shipped it too. Too many wineries around to be doing business with this one.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon with friends for a wine tasting and to choose something good to serve that night. We were impressed with Ben, our tasting host, and the facility. It is lovely. They were gearing up for a large event for some Tech students and had great indoor and outdoor spaces for the evening.

We visited the Caprock winery and didn't really know what to expect. We were there about a month ago. The place is under new management and they have wonderful ideas to make it the best place to visit in Lubbock. It is truly a place to taste wine and relax and enjoy the company and the atmosphere. They are working hard to give back to the university and are contemplating some very innovative things to support the university. We had an excellent afternoon just chillin'. Great place for anyone to visit. Love the vineyard dog too.

Celebrated Texas Independence Day at the winery. There were special promotion of wines and food to celebrate the day. I understand the winery is under new management and is trying hard to make a good impression. A $5 tasting of 5 wines was a prelude for a patio party, complete with music and food.

Of all the wineries I've been to, this is by far one of the best in Texas!!! Everyone was friendly and the wine is great! Love how they have an area where you can relax and hang for a bit on nice leather seating by a fireplace!

We have visited this winery a few times in the past when we have been in the Lubbock area. This time they must have had a change in management. The atmosphere was more of a local bar than an upscale wine tasting experience. We stop for the atmosphere just as much as the wine. We were extremely disappointed. I hope they decide to change back to the upscale atmosphere they had maintained in the past. I'm sure others like ourselves will be disappointed if they continue in this direction.

This is one of the most beautiful and most modern wineries in Texas. They have produced award winning wines. Tours and wine tasting room. Llano Estacado Winery is not far way. So visiting both are convenient.
