Very nice of-road and paved biking & walking trails. Very nice having this in the middle of the suburbs.

We've been to this park on several occasions -- biking, walking, kids playing at the playground, birthday parties / group events, and playing with our dog. This park is great! There's a lot to do, great nature around you, and plenty of room to spread out. It's one of our favorite places to go in Plano.

Husband likes the mountain bike trails. I usually just walk or run, too crowded to ride regular bike on path. Great memories taking my Girl Scout troops here for their "bridging " ceremony.

Love Arbor Hills - fun to hike, bike, rollerblade, walk the dog as you enjoy natural wooded setting. Lots of small trails to explore off the wide concrete paths. Go in the spring to enjoy Texas wildflowers. You definitely feel you've escaped the suburbs when you're in this park. Week-ends can be crowded.

Good spot to get out of typical Plano and walk on paved and dirt trails. Nice outlook area and very dog and stroller friendly.

Absolutely love Arbor Hills. They've increased the parking so it's easier to get a spot. However, it gets very crowded on the weekends. It is dog friendly and there are some nice wooded off the beaten path trails. There is a separate off-road trail for just bikers. Nice kid-friendly park & kept up beautifully by the city.

Love the space and exploring adventures we have with the kids outside. Amazing space for being in the city. And you can't beat the price of admission. However, I'd pay more to get in if it meant their indoor activities were working, more up to date and cleaner.

This is a nice park, with bathroom facilities, and a great playground for the kids. There is a great paved loop for walking and observing nature, as well as paths for bikes. Enjoyed the walk through the woods, hills over the creek and to the lake.

Enjoyed this walking trail and park. Kids had plenty to do. The view from some of the lighthouses were really nice also. You can also ride your bikes here with no interference.

I started out walking here - on the paved trails and the dirt/offroad trails. Have also ridden the mtn bike trails (i swear it is somehow 90% uphill - impossible for a loop but felt like it). I walk dogs from the animal shelter here with a group. We see lots of friendly people and other dogs. Definitely popular when the weather is nice. There is a big playground in the front area. The paved loop is 1.25 miles with 1 mile loop linked in. For running its good for hills (hence the name). There are a few. I have seen some wildlife which i love. Have seen a bob cat, coyote, armadillo, rabbits, and some snakes. Overall - great park!

My expectations are a bit high, but when I think nature preserve, I expect quiet, serene, and certainly no crowds. We tried this place several times,at different times of the day, and it was so crowded we couldn’t really enjoy it. Unfortunately, you also have to watch your step carefully due to the ubiquitous amounts of dog poo everywhere that owners fail to pick up!

Great place to get outside with the family, friends, your dog or alone for a walk or run. The paths are easy to navigate and if y ou take the big loop and and the small loop plus the dirt trail, you can get in a decent 5-6 miles run with some hills. I feel safe running it here however due to the woods and many spots that are far from main roads and away from the parking area, I would not run alone before or after sunset. Too add extra miles to a run, you can easily head down the street and into any of the neighborhoods. It is a safe and populated area. The park is kept clean. Not too many bikers.

I love the fact that it is close to home and there are plenty of places to walk and do some birding. There is a paved walking/biking trail, but many places to walk "off-trail". I have seen many different birds, coyotes and a bobcat! It's an asset to Plano.

Great for families, solo, biking, hiking, dogs on leash. Watch for wildlife! There are so many nooks and crannies, every trip could be a new adventure. Wevtake our pup and she loves splashing in the creeks! There are bike paths, tails, a play ground, picnic areas and much more!

If you want a nice, quiet, peaceful place to walk, run or bike without any dangerous automobile traffic in Plano, then this is the park for you. We have been coming to this park for 4 or 5 years. This place is an oasis in the middle of west Plano. When the trees are fully leafed, you can not see out of the park over most of the trails. It seems secluded from the local community. I like walking here year round to see the changing seasons. There are paved and off road trails to hike. The bikes are confined to the pavement and they are wide enough not to be too dangerous for foot traffic. There are hills and creek beds to walk, with surprising vistas to see. There are animals to see to interest the children. Also there is a very nice playground and picnic area. The only issue is that some dog walkers don't pick-up after their pets.
