I visited this park during a weekend camping trip with a Boy Scout troop. They have a primitive camping area on property - though quite a trek on foot between the campsites and the park. The sites were quite nice and well maintained. The clearings made for roads could have been a little wider. I understand they plan to add running water and a bathroom near the primitive camping area, which would be very welcome. The water park itself was great! They are owned and operated by a Christian family, and much of the music being played was contemporary Christian pop. The attractions were all well maintained, and we enjoyed nearly every square inch of that park on Saturday. The purple and white giant slide was a favorite!I can't say I'd recommend their funnel cakes, as mine was reheated, but other than that, everything was spot-on.

Today was our first visit to Splashway. We are camping in an RV at their campground in which is located right behind the water park. Even though this weekend is one weekend from the end of their season the staff is great and the facilities are in very good shape. We rented a cabana, ordered food from their cafe and of course experiences every part of the water park. The great part is that there is something for all ages and all sizes. The really big slides have a height requirement of 42" which is great since our 10 year old twin boys are only 48" tall. They are happy that they can go down every slide in the park. Shower and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Concerning the campground power and water is fine. Some of the sites prove to be difficult to get a large RV level without wheels coming off the ground. Hopefully tomorrow we will try the zip lines and tonight we are going fishing in the private stocked lake.

We visited the campgrounds and waterpark on 09/05 - 09/07. Both my wife and I were celebrating our 10yr Anniversary and decided to do something as a family. There have been other places that we have camped out at, however this is by far the best that we have been to. There were quite a few things that make them stand out. The one thing that really stood out for me is the CHRISTIAN and FAMILY based atmosphere. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. My wife, son, daughter and I had an amazing time Hiking, S'mores night, and of course the WATERPARK! I definitely will recommend SPLASHWAY WATERPARK and CAMPGROUNDS to friends and family. We definitely will return back to the camp grounds and waterpark. We also are planning to make a trip out for the HALLOWEEKENDS. Great Staff, Customer Service, Great Attitudes. Thanks for making this a memorable 10yr Anniversary

Took my family at 3PM; so we had 3 hours before closing time. It was perfect because that is all we really need. We were in fact done by 5-ish and went to change and left. Kids get to do everything they wanted like the slide, lazy river, etc. It was nice because it was about 80 miles from home and we didn't have to waste all day being out in the sun. And best of all, it did not cost too much to get in.

This place has something for everyone in your family. The lazy river is not to fast but stays cool all day. There are 2 splash pad areas for kids and several large slides for everyone.

We visited the waterpark during the week on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all. The park is not very big but it does have all the amenities of a larger water park. There's free parking, bring your own ice chests filled with all the drinks and food you like. You can also buy food there and amazingly it's not outrageous! Clean restrooms, plenty of staff just walking around sweeping or cleaning tables etc. We took our 2 and 5yr olds and there was plenty of slides age appropriately for each. I have to admit there were more young children and pre-teens vs. older teenagers. If you buy your tickets online, you get 10% off making 1 adult ticket about $22 bucks, that’s cheap compared to some of the other waterparks which will remain nameless. Overall, I highly recommend this water park, we had a blast.

Took our two grand kids to splashaway park for summer vacation. Took our RV and camped at their camping area. The trip was wonderful. The water park has something for all age groups. The facility is wonderfully ran by the most helpful and friendly people. Everything is so clean and there is plenty of picnic tables, lounge chairs and shade for the crowds . We did their zip line tour and had a blast. The camping area was just fine. The stocked pond entertained the the grandchildren in the evenings, almost caught a big mouth bass! Nice playground and sand volleyball area. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we definitely will be back next year.

I planned a group outing for our church and took about 22 people with us. It wasn't crazy big and it wasn't little bitty either. It was just right. If I was looking for the younger kid group, I knew where to go, and if I was looking for the bigger, stronger. more better swimmers, I knew where to look for them as well. For a family camping outing, this would have been a really nice place to go. You could play for a while, go back to your cabin, rest up, and go again. The lines got busy after lunch, but that morning it wasn't that bad at all. We went on a Friday. All in all, I was well pleased. I hope to see that they continue to add on attractions. More variety of things to do for the older kids. Also, everyone that I worked with on organizing the trip were super nice and supportive in helping me plan our trip. They all get an attaboy and an attagirl!

Went for our first time and loved it. (Took 3 10 year old boys.) There are several "big" slides and some medium sized slides to enjoy. We don't have little ones, but there is a section for toddler sized kiddos too. Lazy river was nice, but did get crowded in the afternoon...after 1/2 price tickets went on sale. The park was clean and felt very safe. It appears that they change out their lifeguards or alternate their stations on a 30 minute basis (estimate). That's nice, so they stay fresh and alert. Friendly staff. You can take your own food and they actually have grills to rent and I think some scattered throughout the park (no glass containers). There are lockers to rent and adequate restrooms. Family friendly music (you don't have to worry about them playing songs with bad language or inappropriate subject matter). Plenty of tables and seating around the lazy river. We spent just over 5 hours there...and we had to drag the kids out. I would highly recommend this park!

If I could give this place a 10 star, I would!! I took my daughter and my niece on a 4 day camping trip here this past week, on my pop up camper and we had a blast. We arrived on Monday afternoon and after setting the camper up we walked over to the park... that's right! The campground is within walking distance which is terrific. we played in the park for a few hours and walked back once it closed at 6pm. We got the site RIGHT next to the fabulous bathrooms...they're not air conditioned, but they're only a couple of years old and still look brand new. They are lined with cedar, so there are NO bugs inside the individual showers and individual toilets. There is hot and cold water in the showers and even an air-conditioned coin laundry mat!! The grounds are plenty shaded with tall trees, there is a catch-and-release pond, and a playground with a gigantic volley ball court. There is a small but well equipped country store practically across the street from the park that's opened until 9 pm. The grounds were quiet and really well kept. The park itself is a blast, with life guards practically every 10-20 feet. It has great water slides and a lazy river ... think of Schlitterbanh but half it's size. The ONLY negative about the park is that on Tuesdays it's buy one get one free, so EVERYONE goes... it was incredibly packed. For those who didn't get there on Tuesday by 930 am (it opens at 10am) to stand in line, there were NO picnic tables... since we camped, we got there in time no problem, and found a table with no problem. Other than that one day, it was not super full. They have two grill stations where you can buy hamburgers, chicken strips, pizza, nachos, giant corn dogs, giant sausage on a stick, ice cream, fries, chicken nuggets, sodas, pop corn. They do a moment of silence in the middle of the day for our troops and we got to hear the national anthem right afterwards... also great since we are big supporters of those who fight for us! There are also zip lines and you can buy group tickets for that. There are also two gift shops were you can find things like sunblock (in case you run out!) and other nick nacks.... I cannot describe enough how wonderful this place is and how much fun my girls had. That's all that mattered!!

We come out every year to this park and enjoy a nice cool off from the summer heat. We like this place much more than Splashtown. This is a Faith based park so don't be surprised if you hear Christian rock. The prices are slightly better and it's a clean park. They have added ziplines, another slide and our new large pool that has a deck that you can just sit in the shallow water in the lounger and chill out!

I went there with my 6 and 5 year old. They had a great time! There is a really cool pirate ship with 3 levels of slides for all differnt ages of kids. The park was small but clean, with a good group of visitors. The staff was very freindly and helpful. The drive was peacful, being off of 90, which was a great perk. There are cabins and zip lines there as well.

We decided to come visit after receiving some free passes and thought what the heck! What a delightful surprise!!!!! I have 3 kids, 13, 9, and 7. The younger ones LOVED it. The 13 year old had a good time no doubt but could have handled a bigger park. That is one of the things I loved as a parent about this park. This is a FAMILY waterpark. While I did see lots of tattoos being sported I didn't feel like I was in gangland. The staff is super helpful and respectful. This place is soooooo clean!!!!!! We did not go on a holiday weekend but on a friday in July. No long waits in ride lines, plenty of tubes to ride the lazy river. You get to bring your own food!!!!! Decent bathrooms, plenty of free parking. We sat on the far side near the big slides to give the parents with little ones access to the seats nearest the kiddy attractions. I would not sit near the stage/wave pool area. The DJ is loud. There is PLENTY of seating and different types, covered, loungers, sunny, etc. The cabanas looked great and I would reserve one if I had a baby or grandparents with me. There is only one clock in the place if you are a clock watcher. It is up by the DJ. We arrived at 10am and closed the place down. One day is enough. They have a camp ground and some cabins but we stayed in Weimar TX because they were full and a tad expensive, and required a min stay of 2 nights. I think it is a Christian owned venue as some of the songs played were by Christian artists, and they did not allow skimpy suits. two pieces were fine but I did see some gals with t shirts on that you could tell they had a small top or bottom or were well endowed. The only critique I can offer is that the seams on the waterslides are not super smooth and you get to feel them coming down! Overall I really enjoyed the park in comparison to bigger Texas water parks because I have smallish kids due to the size and cleanliness!

This is the second time we've visited. The kids love it and there's plenty of seated shading. As this was a last minute trip, we didn't get to book a cabana as they were all reserved but will try to get one next time. We were there from open to close and the kids were worn out! The new slides and pool are also a nice touch from my last visit 2 years ago. Found this place via Groupon.

I took 5 grand kids with me. It is a smaller park with big slides. Easy access to your table from the lazy river. The price however is kinda high. It cost 150.00 for 6 of us. We did not do our research before we left and planned on going fro, sat and sun. " a grandma get away with the kiddos" it would have cost 450.00 for three days. So we stayed one. But overall it was a lot of fun.
