We visited the centre in December and found the staff most helpful. We were almost back in our car when one of the staff came out with even more information he thought could be useful for us. Excellent service, well done.

I visited here with a friend from Lubbock. She asked them many questions and they always had accurate information, including directions. Very friendly too. Thank you volunteers and employees. You represent San Angelo well.

This is a pleasant place to stop and visit. Also, there is access to the walking path along the river and that makes for an even more enjoyable experience.

We visited here before we moved here and then I took my sister-in-law here when she visited in May. The volunteers who work here are out-going, friendly and helpful, making suggestions and giving brochures and pamphlets.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was closed. However the outside area stays open, so we were able to enjoy that even if we couldn't get any tourist information. Very beautiful place in its own right and worth a visit. In fact if it's open, I'd go here before going anywhere else so you can ask questions and plan your visit. Take some time to enjoy the scenery on the back side of the building that faces the river. Very serene and relaxing.

While the actual information place of the San Angelo visitors center was limited (however the staff was very congenial). The building and grounds themselves were amazing, there's a beautiful park with native Texas shrubberries and a river that runs by it.

The staff are fantastic here, so welcoming and helpful. The lady who dealt with me was very keen to call round to find out the prices hotels were charging for their rooms. This was so helpful since my own mobile phone doesn't work in the United States. The visitor center is also very well stocked with literature about every area of Texas, not just San Angelo. This venue is a must if you come to San Angelo.

On a recent visit to San Angelo we stopped at the Visitor's Center to get directions to the local sites. The building sits on the banks of the Concho River and is just lovely. The information we received was excellent and the volunteer at the desk was most helpful. There are some beautiful sculptures behind the center leading down to the river. It was a very hot day when we were there so we did not walk around much. There are nice walking paths around the river with some shade trees. One thing we discovered at the center was a pamphlet of the painted sheep placed around town. As you drive around you spy these beautifully decorated sheep that celebrate the importance that sheep and wool had on the economy of the area. It is a fun quest to do to see them all.

Friendly volunteers available to answer your questions and supply you with brochures, maps, coupons, etc. Stop by. It's also a beautiful picture venue.

Pretty neat for a place like San Angelo. The extended river walk/park located along the river to the east was also very lovely

Lots of information. Many volunteers to help you find something to do in the city. They have tons of knowledge.

This is a must see when visiting San Angelo. The visitors center is located next to The Concho River. It has beautiful statues, and sculptures that lead down to the river. It has a great resevoir of information on places to see and visit in our great state of Texas. Also a fantastic places to take photos and stop for a much needed break if traveling.Children will have fun outside, for there are steps down to the river, and ducks are usually meandering along the paths. The visitor center is a must do. :)
