junk gypsy

I've been wanting to go to this store since it opened and it was absolutely great!!! There's so much to see! Love it!

We drove 4 plus hours to see what we thought was going to be a place were they sold items that they showed making on the TV show or items similar. It is totally commericalized. They buy almost everything. The only thing that I saw was their Dad's biscuit mix. Don't waste your time! Very disappointing. The only thing good that came from that trip, was I took my granddaughter and we stopped at a farm and she got to milk a cow.

My curiosity got the best of me, so of course being named "Gypsy" myself, i wanted to visit the show that has given me ideas and sense of family. Store is as you see it in their show but i think they have more of "mass produced" stuff then things they actually make. Just looked like a store with some antiques. Will I go back for this particular store? No, i dont think so. But the town itself has a great historical center and little shops arounf the towns square! Many other antique shops to make the trip worth wild!Sadly i wanted to see more of the families reuse of "junk".
