Mineral Wells water is famous. They rate their water 1 - 4, depending on the amount of minerals are in it, 4 having the most minerals. Beginners should start with number 1 and move up.

We attended the Crazy Water Festival and had a wonderful time. It is great for families and very enjoyable.

There were 4 vats of water that contained different concentrations of minerals for tasting. You really could tell the difference, especially if you chose the tap that dispensed the water at room temperature. We bought a few large bottles (different prices ranging from $1 to $3 depending on the concentration of minerals, but I thought the other souvenirs T-shirts, caps etc. were quite expensive.

We enjoyed a brief tour of the museum/history of the company and the town. Delightful gift shop. The staff was very friendly.

We had a great time being pampered by Sylvia with a mineral bath and massage. Make sure you schedule a trip to the spa when visiting!

A truly remarkable business founded on the the rich history of a town literally built as a result of "crazy water". The entrepenaurs of this business are right on...basing it on historical documentation and literal facts. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, drink their water, take a bath and get a massage in the spa...then eat ice cream while you meaner through the museum.Do not miss this one.Plan on spending some time in this town...lots to do or see.

My husband and I went to Mineral Wells, Texas, a few weeks ago. We found the Water Company and had a good time there. The girls we spoke to told us all about the water and the town. We got to taste all the waters. We talked to them about the time the "Ghost Adventures" guys (Zak, Aaron, and Nick) came to town to explore the Baker Hotel and how they came to the Water Company to drink the waters. We had fun looking at all the things in the shop and seeing the historical pictures of the town. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions of places for a BBQ lunch. We bought jugs of Crazy Waters #3 and #4. It is so tasty. I love the stuff. We will be going back down there in October for the festival. I'll buy more water then.

Went on a day trip to this town and found this place. Inside they have some flavored ice drink and soda made from their mineral water. You can try and taste the water and buy some in different sizes. The most economical and cheapest way is to bring your own 5 gallon plastic container. The no.3 water did taste a lot different but I think it's worth a try. They also offer a bath with mineral water for 40 minutes $28. The lady inside was very accomodating and they can also give you some info as to where else to go.

Summer time they have live music in the garden, usually some ice cream or other treats. If you haven't tried the water it is worth the investment to take home a bottle or more.

A short history of this mineral water company and some early products were on display. The highlight of the visit was getting to taste their choice of three different mineral water varieties. Several local folks came in to purchase water by the gallon. If you desire a history of the mineral waters in this town your time is better spent reading the displays at the beginning of the Mineral Wells Trailway a few blocks away. There is an old fashioned soda fountain at the gift shop location which we did not try. They also have numerous tourist type products available.

This place is for real. My husband and I started drinking their #3 water when we heard others talking about it healing their arthritis. Neither of us has had any problems with arthritis, so maybe there's something to it! The owners of this business have done wonders with keeping the history of the water and this area alive and interesting. As a Mineral Wells resident, we are very proud of them and all they have accomplished.
