...and I rarely don't have my wallet handy, either. Some say to never go to Marfa without stoping at the Marfa Book Co. and buying a book...I might have to agree.Great selection, especially design-related books. Peaceful, mellow but friendly owner and employee or two.

Quiet store with an amazing selection of books. I wasn't sure what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised to find little gems written by Eliot, Walter & Dennis. Don't show up looking for the latest best seller - staff was friendly but unintrusive. Will be back if I'm ever in the area.
