We took our grandson here for a day of fun and I think we accomplished that. As far as the kids go I think they love this place and adults can have fun too if they want to get wet but IMO there is only one attraction here that works for me and I believe it's called the sidewinder. A sheer drop of slip & slide that takes your breath away. About the only complaint I have for this place is they charge for anyone entering the park whether you use the facilities or not which my wife did not do.Parking is off site and when we were there it was free but others say they charge so maybe it's timing.

The first thing you shout in mind (or out loud) when you enter the water park would be the title. The picture you see in the ad and the slides is the only thing exciting there. The tubes are less than 10 (or maybe 5), there are no large pools. The parking lot is off site (and $5!) and I was a bit worried about my tires. The bathroom was dirty, and some of the lifeguards were even sleeping on site.If there is no freebie or any party you need to attend with no charge, this place is not worth.

This is a small, compact water park that is ok for kids up to young teens, but can't be compared to the world class amusements such as schlitterbahn. It's certainly not an all day event but is ok for a few hours. With water levels in Lake Travis well below normal, there is no beach.

The only reason they get a "2" is because our 9 & 10 yr old girls enjoyed themselves on the 1 slide they liked. So for $20 per person, and no access to the beach, and 1 enjoyable slide, it's a rip-off! Would not recommend...even for young kids.

Don't bother going. They have 2 watersides and then a raft sidewinder. And they have a shallow part of the pool for kids. Luckily we didn't pay full price we had a living social coupon. But we were there for 4 hours and the kids liked it. It's just not worth the money.

After getting a 50% off admission deal to Volente Beach, I decided to finally check this place out with my 6 year old. Thankfully, we did not pay full price admission for this. It was pretty small and looked a bit outdated. There was only one place, Lazy Lagoon, that my son could really play in. He was too big for the pirate ship and the other 3 slides were for the bigger kids and too scary for him. And that was it so it's definitely not worth the money or the drive. $5 for parking too. There was shade and plenty of picnic tables, but it's overpriced and it wasn't quite exactly a waterpark that I'm used to. I'd suggest Rock n River in Round Rock, that is much cheaper and cleaner as well.

I take my nieces here every year to enjoy this relaxing low-key water park. The water slides are fun and there is plenty of picnic tables and pool areas. There is pool and sand volleyball set up and there is also a nice gated kiddy-pool area too. The park has a bar for the adults and I think they serve food. We like to bring a picnic with drinks and snacks for the day.Suggestions: The tarps at the tops of the water slides need to be replaced... they are torn up and no longer functional. A little overall paint and maintenance would really help refreshen the park.

we never went back after our whole church's youth and little kids group picked up some awful stomach virus bc of dirty water/infected poop found in the water left by a dirty diaper =(

this is not a water park, it is camp area with a few rides. not worth the money.

For 2 adults and 2 kids under 10 it cost $80 and that was after a $12 discount. Only 4 slides and one was so slow you pretty much had to crawl out at the end. One however was totally awesome thriller. Two man tube with straight down drop off into giant U shaped wall that looked like a giant skateboard tube. It was fun. Everything else was pretty cheesy. You could bring in your own cooler so that saves you money. It was worth about $40 for what we got.

We visited Austin for a week and saw many ads for this water park. It was a long drive, quite expensive, and a huge disappointment. A very tiny area was roped off in Lake Travis and we were told we couldn't pass the rope. The area was too small and too shallow to swim in. The few water rides are directed toward small children. My 19 year old daughter got stuck on one of the chutes as there was no water to propel her. There was no lazy river and the only small pool available was crowded and filled with dingy water. We will never come hear again and will warn others to stay away. The bright colorful pics in the ads must be from photos taken years ago.
