I have been here a few times as part of a company picnic. We always have an amazing time. SO much to do. You can spend all day. My children really enjoy this during the fall and the pumpkin patch. Our favorite ride the to go feed the cows. . . just make sure to bring hand sanitizer. If you are a city person and want to get the country experience visit the Oil Ranch!

Best party ever for my daughter and her friends! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the kids loved all of the activities! Lots to do and the birthday child even gets a free shirt! Great family environment! Perfect for a birthday party!!!

Do NOT go to The Oil Ranch. We stayed for like an hour just walking around and paid over $60 just to get in and get 3 very small pumpkins. We ask for a refund and they refused. It's not worth the drive or the money. Also the lady at the booth is very rude. She told my kids the couldn't walk back to the car. She told then they couldn't sit on the fence. She told my husband he couldn't sit on a giant pumpkin etc etc. They had a corporate event or something going on so seems like most of the staff was doing that instead of helping with other things like the very long line at the food stand.

This place was horrible! Such a waste of money. 15 dollars a person even for adults. Which there is nothing for adults to do. And we weren't even allowed a pumpkin when we left! All of the activities were run down or closed!

What a fun day trip from Houston, less than an hour away. Take a hay ride to feed the cows, ride the train, milk a cow, ride a pony, play in the hay loft, visit the petting zoo, and so much more. All of the attractions are unlimited rides, playgrounds galore, swimming, putt putt, etc. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We had so much fun - you can bring a picnic and enjoy a full day.

Great family day out. Pony tides, petting zoo, train ride, hay ride to feed the cows. Surprised by the reviews saying staff not friendly. We found them all to be extremely friendly and helpful.

The Paintball fields were clean unlike others. Staff very Friendly and well trained. The pricing wasnt bad and they had specials that they had available. The biggest downfall was that they only take reservations and are not usually open to anyone. They use Air instead of cheaper CO2 which was better for my equipment. They have large covered area for picnics and Bathrooms available.

Took 8 8th graders to Oil Ranch for a day of paintball. We were treated well by the staff, especially Mike and Zeke. The boys had a great time in the 3 huge paintball fields. I would go there again.

As we stated the day of your event, we did not send out memos to you about cost. However we did send an email to the school stating that if you did not all pay as a group you would not get the group rate. Sorry for your dissatisfaction with our Ranch. We wish only to continue to get the oppourtunity to educate school children in the workings of a ranch.Several children from your field trip left their jackets and we drove the mileage to navasota area to personally return them.I would love to here from you how we could have made your day better .Feel free to write us an email to info@oilranch.com. Visited the Oil Ranch for a birthday party. We haven't been here in probably 3 years and excited for the renovations. Bathrooms were clean and in good working order. Many activities for the kids, including the train, miniature golf course, swings and hayride. Enjoyed the pumpkin patch for the kids. My son liked picking out his own pumpkin to take home. Decorations were great all around the park!The weather was fantastic so it was crowded! Go early as there is usually a line to get in. Love that you can bring a cooler and your own food. Many families had wagons filled to the brim with food/munchies and fun activities! Did eat a BBQ sandwich that was good and the kids had pizza during the party. I would highly recommend taking a kickball/football and your own food and enjoy the day!

I can't comment on the rest of the Oil Ranch activities as I don't have little ones anymore but we have been out for paintball twice - Once taking my U15 soccer team (5/25/2013) and another time with my son and his buddies for his 15th birthday (2/24/2013) and we all have been very happy. The boys had a blast and really enjoyed the setup of the fields (especially the one with the boats). The paintball markers had no problems/worked great and the referree was great - both times. The owner has been there both times and got us taken care of and all the guys workin the area have been great. We'll go back to Oil Ranch Paintball before any other over-priced fields in Cypress area for sure. Watch for Groupons too...even better pricing. Word of caution for ANY paintball outing, you will need more money than what you paid for entry, marker, mask and air. Kids go thru paintballs quickly, the 200 paintballs included in your fee will be gone in the first round or two...and you're not allowed to bing in store-bought paintballs (people freeze them to make em hard and hurt people, etc... - too mych liability) so you'll need to purchase extra at the location. Typical is $25 per 1000 paintballs.

Safety is priority one at the Oil Ranch, Your Child continued to stick his arms and legs out of the train, At that point we have to stop and remove him for safety reasons. I would much rather read your review about his embarassment then read about how he was injured because we did not pay attention to his safety. Thanks for your comments we appreciate them all.

There was not a lot to do. The place is very hot and spread out. The general staff were ok, some seemed bored. There was a woman riding around on a cart yelling at people. Overall, not welcoming. The animals seemed tired too.

Good place to have a nice afternoon. If you have kids i can see that this place would be awesome to hang out for the day. They have hay rides, a pool, golf, food. Just a lot of fun for little ones.

Took our senior class for their end of the year celebration. Everything was working and so much space for people to spread out and do what they wanted. The animals were available for petting and staff was polite.
