never even knew this place was here on what went on. we actually came by to see another business and the market day was going on. the kids had a great time looking at all the booths and buying some candies. fun and safe day.

Neat place to go if you've never been, Make sure you hit the Gristmill for lunch. Vendors and shops tooo pricey. Better deals in Fredericksburg

We were able to purchase several gifts for family members. it was small but I hear its pretty big in the fall. I would love to go back then. Not your average craft show. My Husband gets drug to these things by me all the time and he was even impressed!

I love this place! Gruene, TX is a place like no other. It has everything--art, photography, crafts, shopping, wineries, dancing, excellent food, live music, historic landmarks filled with information about the town's original German settlements, it's so neat! Most people come for the summer to tube the river, but the best time of year is Nov. and Dec. the ambiance, the shopping, Christmas spirit is everywhere! You cannot miss the Market Days in Gruene when visiting New Braunfels, TX!

Thank goodness the market was small! I only found a couple of interesting vendors that had a product that was worth looking at and hearing about. There were a lot of odd, cheezy, handmade items and not art, in my mind. Crafty and not my style. The town of Gruene is a fantastic little town with just enough stores, restaurants, and "bars." The dancehall is so wonderful and everyone has to visit at least once! The town has so many wonderful things going on that I don't see the need for this kind of market.

My daughter and I travel down to Gruene several times a year to stroll through the market stalls and cute shops and boutiques. We enjoy the atmosphere of the small town and they offer several great dining options, a winery and ample convenient parking!

I was told this happens on the third weekend of each month. I would go visit this little town even if the market days was not going on. There are all kinds of little shops to visit. Market days were fun for trying food and buying crafts. There is also live entertainment going on all over during the day.
