if you love golf, you will love this course. two very nice courses, challenging but fun. Comanche lakes course has HUGE UNDULATING GREENS. not easy. gorgeous scenery.

Played the Links course. It looks like a links style course minus the presence of a large body of water. The mounds and rolling terrain puts a premium on hitting the fairway otherwise you will have a number of awkward stances on your second shot. Greens were receptive to good shots and the undulations made reading them challenging. Can't wait til the next time when I'll try the Lakes Course.

A neighbor heard about the courses at Squaw Valley and 4 couples made the short trek up from Georgetown. Two great courses in fabulous shape. The greens on the links are a little tricked up with some pin locations on the edges of step ridges but it made you think. I am sure we will be back and the ladies are planning to get their group up there as well.

Clubhouse get 1.5 Stars @ best ... but both Courses are great tracks. Variety of Holes; in glen Rose where there are plenty dope lodging & dining options, but also convenient to Granbury with MANY more options.

Excellent Course. Very nice. There are two courses. Lakes and Links. We played the Links. Very nice, very well maintained. I would recommend calling a few days in advance to make sure you get the tee time you want. we were a twosome and ended up playing with another twosome to get an early morning tee time. On Saturday, both courses were full with a tournament. sunday, the Lakes course had a tournament. According to the folks we played with the Lakes course is harder (more Water, Thats why its called the lakes course :) ) Very nice, they have folks out there keeping track of the pace of play which is nice if you trying to get your round completed in a timely manner. If you play slow (for whatever reason) you may feel like they are pushing you. Would definitely go back and play again.

You may play the Lakes or Links course. Each course has it's own style. This is a very fun place to play golf. You will enjoy either course. The prices are very reasonable and the people very friendly. Give it a try!

We took a later tee time and really enjoyed ourselves. We are recreational golfers and we were able to take our time and enjoy the game. The course was beautiful!

Two courses, the Links and the Lakes. The Lakes will be kinder to you, hands down. Scenic, well manicured courses, great greenskeeper! Lovely accomodating staff. I can see why these courses are top rated in Texas. Really like playing here but I need to get my head around playing the Links at least a week out - tough cookie, that one!

Traveled from Nebraska to play golf. Great courses, resonably price, very challanging, and friendly staff. Would play again. Hidden gem of a course.

I have been playing this course for 15 years. When I need to get away from it all, I head to Glen Rose and Squaw Valley.

You almost have to consider this course(s) as a collection of all 36 holes, both the Lakes and Links. I love going out there...for me I'd rather drive an hour or more to play golf on these outlier courses than play a s-l-o-w, crowded round in the city. These courses are typically very well maintained - a real loving hand by the supers there. The Links course may look a little contrived at your first experience (because the front-9 is flat, kind of out-and-back with only chocolate drop mounds separating the fairways), but it is fast and fun and allows you to stay closer to par before hitting the back-9. Another thing I love about courses like Squaw is the simpler, unpretentious clubhouse and grill, etc. Let's keep this place a secret though from the other "Dallas area" folks like me! :)

Wondrous man-made rolling hills! Two courses, starting with the links in the front (rolling hills), then onto the lakes in the back course. All holes are meticulously maintained. Great value for the course ...particularly during the weekdays.Club house and snack bar/ restaurant could use updating to attract customers after they finish the course.Challenging and fun! ENJOY :)

Both of these courses will both challenge and surprise you for how beautiful and fun they are to play. We now make a point to play when we go because we know we can get on almost anytime at a great price.

With two courses, no problem handling the Texas Women's Amateur Golf Association annual match play tournament on the Links course, although parking was tight on a busy pubic day at the Creeks course. Nice warm up/practice/putting greens, pro shop, snack bar with limited menu, cart girls, and outstanding staff. Efficient pro, friendly marshalls -- what more could you want? Nice pavillion for dinners, lunches, awards ceremonies. Dry county so must join club to buy beer, spirits. Bird watchers' paradise with herons, egrets, owls, cardinals, hawks, woodpeckers, geese, ducks and more. Fish in the creeks.

There are two courses here, the Links and the Lakes. Rated very high by consumers for great golf, excellent customer service and very user friendly....did I say challenging? Yes, very, but in a good way. Very well maintained and country like setting. Great rates mid week - already planning our next trip.
