More spirited than eclectic, more magical than funky . . . you can find the most imaginative garden ornaments and native or naturalized plants that thrive in this area. This is the best place to look for uncommon native specimens for your landscape. You can take a relaxing walk through the nursery on trails that meander under lovely old trees, and if you have any questions, the people with the answers are nearby but not pushy or intrusive. Make sure you check out the art and handcrafts in the shop as well. You will leave more inspired and refreshed than when you first walked in.

I enjoy browsing around Solstice immensely. The business sells both art and plants, and the garden around the house that holds the art is beautifully maintained and pleasant to meander through. The owner Chris is personable and knowledgeable.

You have a very lovely nursery. Magical in every way. i tried calling you four times today to let you know that I was not going to be able to return to buy the hanging plant as i told you i was going to do after going to Home depot. I know you were staying just for me. I got called to work on an emergency and couldn't return. Your website doesn't give me a way to contact you and i couldn't reach you by phone so i am reaching out this way. It takes some time to look around, but if you have the time you'll definitely find something great for your yard.

The artwork, both inside and out is just marvelous. The plants are likewise unique. You can spend a couple of hours just looking at everything. This is my favorite place to buy art and unique gifts. My gardening friends come to visit us from Houston just to go here!

Solstice Gardens has a wonderful collection of outdoor garden art as well as a small indoor gallery featuring paintings, photographs, jewelry, fiber art and sculpture of local artists. There are a few wooded walking trails dotted with one of a kind sculpture, glass work and kinetic art. There is also a plant nursery with a selection of native Texas and heat/low water tolerant flora. The owner, Chris, is very friendly and enthusiastic about decorating the most beautiful room of your house-the yard! Chris is an artist himself and has several of his concrete and kinetic sculptures on site. He refuses to make any two works the same. It is a great place to stop and relax on your way between the Texas Hill Country and Austin. Not to be missed! Look for the big red sign and the pinwheels on the westbound side of the road on the west side of Highway 290 in Dripping Springs
