This course if beautiful and people are so friendly, it' is a very nice place. Reasonably priced, but overall a great experience

Great concert (Bellamy Brothers) Family friendly atmosphere and great food. The dance floor was ample and the sound system was also very good.

We really enjoyed playing golf on this course. It is well taken care of and has a nice pro shop. The free tea in the clubhouse was much appreciated. TJ in the pro shop was very helpful. Hopefully we can play here again if we are in the area.

I have played golf on this course about a half a dozen times over the years. I typically spend at least a week on the Frio River in Leakey or Concan every year and try to get in a round or two at this course. I even drove up from Uvalde during a week down there to catch a round. It’s only about 30 min from Uvalde.Anyway, this course is nestled into a valley with large hills surrounding it. It is almost completely undeveloped and wild throughout the course. The course is relatively new and very well taken care of. It doesn’t get a ton of play due to it’s remote location. Good for me bad for the owners I’m sure. I typically finish a round in 3 hours which is a nice change from playing in Houston. Highly recommend this course and no tee times are necessary. Just show up and play.

If in the area, you can't miss this. Even if you just want to grab a sandwich wrap or burger at the porch / Snack bar is very nice. It is worth a stop. If you play golf, I hear it is a fantastic course and to take extra balls since you might lose some. But they love it. They have lots of activites here including wine tastings which are fantastic with the food spread that is included. Gorgeous views aroung this area.

This course was great, especially considering my 81 year old Uncle Sonny took me to play it. It's really pretty and is hard for a golfer like me because of the hazards and terrain. The people that worked there were nice and we had a great time. Will play next time we get to visit Concan!

My husband and I love to golf and read about this course on www.golfnow.com where we booked a tee time for this course. You want to do this as it saved us over $40 by doing this. It is a very beautiful facility. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had an 8:30am tee time (I suggest going early in the day as it is quite hot and the course does not have a whole lot of tall trees) with breakfast and a bucket of balls included with our cart. The driving range is really different because the balls are already waiting for you. Very nice range. The cart has an ice cooler already attached so that you can load up your drinks and ice. I highly suggest that you do this if you play here as there is NO drink cart that comes around. There are VERY nice holes on this course. We were pleasantly surprised on the 2nd hole by a huge jack rabbit. There is wildlife all through this course (deer were on one hole) and it makes for a very relaxing game. Many of the holes have multiple hazards so this course would not be recommended for a beginner. I especially enjoyed hole 14 and 15. Hole 14 I believe is extremely short (60 yards from the grey tees) but is about a 30' circle surrounded by a 6' drop all around and rocks. Hole 15 is one of the prettiest I have seen with a windmill AND waterfall flowing into a lake. The greens are absolutely amazing. I have to say, you must beware as they all seem to have elevation and angles that are quite challenging. There are roughs that the course manager does not want anyone to go into as they are environmentally protected. The long rough is very similar to the rough shown in the British open (prairie grass). I lost a whole pack of my best balls (pink Calloways if you find them), but it was a wonderful time on a tough course. Other people playing this course were courteous and friendly and we didn't have anyone rushing us. We would definitely play here again!
