Technically, the "Cedar Park Farmers Market" is in Austin, while the "Austin Farmers Market" is now in Cedar Park at the Cedar Park Center. Prices are high to me, but not higher than the other local farmer's markets.

Farmers' markets are great places to pick up really local food treats, and the Cedar Park Farmers Market delivered on that! In addition to the usual vegetables, fruits, meats, and eggs seen at most farmers' markets, this one had bacon jam (yummy!), cheesy grits (try the bacon jam on that!), more varieties of hummus than I'd ever seen before, homemade jams and jellies, superb cheeses, delicious pralines, an interesting selection of broths, wine, olive oil, and a wide range of ready-to-eat foods. The Cedar Park Farmers' Market takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Lakeline Mall parking lot -- there's plenty of parking!
